  • Patent number: 6381888
Abstract: A device for successively changing elongated flexible sheets or similar flexible objects from an active position to non-active positions includes a drum, relative to which the sheets or similar flexible objects are fixed. The drum is rotatable in two opposing rotational directions. The rotational directions of the drum are controlled by a timing device in relation to the rotational speed of the motor so that rotation takes place in a first direction for such a time that the sheet located in the active position becomes wound up onto the drum and that a second sheet, located in the first rotational direction after the first sheet, is carried to a position from which the second sheet is unwound from the drum to the active position, upon rotation of the drum in the other rotational direction. Thereafter the drum is rotated in the other rotational direction for such a time that the second sheet becomes unwound from the drum.

  • Patent number: 5082067
Abstract: An apparatus with two limit positions and generating a reciprocating motion, comprises a first moving part (4a, 4b) and a second moving part (16a, 16b) between which parts (4a, 4b; 16a, 16b) a pressurized drive medium (38a, 38b) such as compressed air, is disposed to simultaneously displace the moving parts (4a, 4b; 16a, 16b) in mutually opposite directions. At least the first moving part (4a, 4b) is actuated, by a constantly present force, for example by the pressure of the driving media (38a, 38b) applied on at least one surface of the first moving part (4a, 4b), in the forward direction under tensioning of an associated force accumulator (20a), for example a spring.

  • Patent number: 4818115
Abstract: A device to mechanically decompose a barrier which separates two or more mutually miscible ingredients and mixes the said ingredients, preferably a mixer for amalgam in capsules. The device 1 comprises first members to fixedly hold the said ingredients and second members to impart to the said ingredients a sufficiently rapid motion to accomplish the said barrier decomposition and mixing. The said first members comprise a closable space 4 into which the said ingredients and said capsule 2 respectively are admissible and by which these or this respectively is or are respectively aligned with the said second members 14, 15. The said second members 14, 15 are arranged to be started only upon or after closing of the said closable space 4.

  • Patent number: 4592431
Abstract: A device to transfer the alternately performed reciprocating movements of two pistons in a forward direction of a tool, the pistons being arranged coaxially about a center axis in a casing with the first piston running at least partly in a bore of the second piston and in sealing relation with the second piston bore. Another part of the first piston extends out of the path of movement of the second piston and is in sealing relation against the interior wall of the casing. The pistons are driven alternately to strike against an impact member common to both pistons which impact member is coaxial with the center axis and mechanically coupled to the tool.

  • Patent number: 4240219
Abstract: A system for displaying a number of pictures, notices, or similar announcements comprises a number of flexible sheets each provided with pictures, notices, etc. and cooperating with respective suspension devices for suspending the sheets in a divided stacker. The suspension devices, for example in the form of pins, project beyond the sheet on either side thereof and the stacker collects the projecting suspension devices so as to store the sheets, preferably hanging vertically. Each sheet is provided with a substantially stiff outer grip member which is gripped and moved by a feed system. The feed system moves the sheet and the suspension member for the respective sheets so as to displace the suspension member to sequentially display successive sheets or the like.
