  • Patent number: 10380568
Abstract: A DRM system is provided wherein when a protected content unit is provided to an access device, the access information associated with the protected content unit is retrieved from the DRM server and provided to the access device in the same transaction in which the protected content unit is provided. Therefore, when the user seeks to access the protected content unit, the access request can be handled locally without the need to rely upon potentially constrained connectivity to the DRM server. The techniques described herein enable an access device to access content protected by a DRM system. When a protected content unit and access information is received at the access device, in one transaction, the protected content unit can be decrypted on the access device using the access information, and/or the access information can be used to enforce a DRM policy associated with the protected content unit.

  • Patent number: 7784208
Abstract: The display panel has an outer surface to which a sign may be attached and an inner surface having a fastener composed of resiliently deformable material. An end of the fastener is separated from the display panel by a slit which is adapted to receive an outer plate of a conventional door handle The outer plate is held in the slit by the resiliently deformable composition of the fastener. The plate may however be removed from the slit by the application of a force opposed to the bias of the resilient material in order to widen the slit.

  • Patent number: 7568491
Abstract: The vehicle-mounted awning is a quick setup framework that supports a weatherproof fabric canopy, and is configured for use to the rear of a vehicle. A multi-sectioned bumper bar attaches to the hitch receiver of a vehicle. Opposing ends of the bumper bar have vertical extension pieces, each extending vertically and having a slightly arcuate free end for support of an arcuate multi-sectioned upper side panel frame on either side of the bumper bar. Multi-sectioned lower side panel frames are pivotally connected to opposing ends of the bumper bar. Upper and lower side panel frames are removably connected at their distal ends to provide cantilevered support. Additional multi-sectioned framework extends rearward protective coverage. A flexible water-resistant fabric is wrapped over the support framework to provide a covered canopy region. The framework of the device comprises a plurality of collapsible elements for storage in a small bag.

  • Patent number: 5090754
Abstract: A restrictor device for restricting the extent of movement of a closure movably mounted with a frame. The restrictor device includes in combination an arm adapted for pivotal coupling to one of the closure member or frame and a latching member adapted for mounting with the other of the frame or closure member. The arm and latching members have cooperating elements which pivotally couple the arm with the latching member yet permits uncoupling of the arm from the latching member when the closure member is in a substantially predetermined position relative to the frame. The latching member includes a latch mechanism which prevents uncoupling of the arm when the closure is in the substantially predetermined position. There are operating mechanisms to enable the latch mechanisms to be operated such as to allow uncoupling of the arm to take place.
