  • Patent number: 9784522
Abstract: A toy bow assembly that is used to launch toy projectiles. The toy bow assembly includes a handle that is used to grasp the toy. The handle has opposite ends. Two arm subassemblies extend from the opposite ends of the handle, wherein the arm subassemblies can articulate between folded positions and extended positions. The arm subassemblies have a spring bias that biases the arm subassemblies into extended positions. Catches are provided in the toy bow assembly for retaining the arm subassemblies in folded positions when the arm subassemblies are articulated into folded positions against the spring bias. Releases are present on the handle that retracts the catches, enabling the arm subassemblies to respond to the spring bias and spring from their folded positions to their extended positions.

  • Patent number: 9782688
Abstract: A toy construction set that enables modular toy elements to be interconnected into a chain assembly. Each toy element has a pivot hub that defines an empty first interior chamber. A first yoke arm is coupled to the pivot hub that defines an empty second interior chamber. A second yoke arm is coupled to the pivot hub that defines an empty third interior chamber. The first interior chamber, the second interior chamber and the third interior chamber intersect form an internal resonance chamber. Formations are present on first yoke arm, the second yoke arm, and the pivot hub. The formations intermesh and enable different modular toy elements to snap together. The formations also generate noise as two interconnected toy elements are moved in relation to one another. The noise that is generated is enhanced by the resonance chambers within the toy elements that create the noise.

  • Publication number: 20170106302
Abstract: A posable toy figure having a body, a head, and limbs that are held together by at least one elastic cord. The limbs are comprised of limb pieces that are also held together by the elastic cords. Each limb has multiple flat contact surfaces. Each limb is biased against the body at an abutment joint. Each limb is selectively moveable about the abutment joint into one of a few stable orientations relative the body. In each of the different stable orientations, a different one of the flat contact surfaces of a limb abuts against the body. Limb pieces create secondary abutment joints that enable the limbs to be configured into different stable poses. This provides the toy figure with a large, yet limited, number of posable configurations. The various posable configurations are readily indexed and can be easily repeated.
