Patent number: 10206323Abstract: A plant by plant harvester is provided. The harvester may harvest and analyze single or double rows of crops. The single row harvester may have a first and a second guide unit which surrounds a single row of a crop and directs the single row of the crop into a sheller, picker, or grain/fruit separation unit. In an alternative embodiment of the device, the device may harvest two rows of crops. A GPS or any other location positioning device having an antenna is secured to the top of the main frame and allows the harvester to be remotely controlled. A hopper, container or holding bin may, in real-time, calculate the weight of the separated products. A plurality of sensors may be located on or near the first and/or second guide unit which allows the harvester to, for example, capture data related to the crop at the single plant level.Type: GrantFiled: March 28, 2017Date of Patent: February 19, 2019Assignee: MEMES ASSOCIATES, LTDInventors: Pinakin Desai, Stephen M. Faivre, Peter Joseph Zerillo, Lee C. Prunty, William M. Hoeg

Publication number: 20160318607Abstract: A tethered drone assembly is provided. The tethered drone assembly may be a vehicle-based tethered drone assembly system or may be a free standing tethered drone assembly system. The tethered drone assembly has a plurality of drones each tethered by a cord. The tethered drones may hover in front of, behind or on either side of the vehicle so as to better survey the surrounding area of the vehicle. In some embodiments, a main product tank is used to supply liquids, foams, gases, powders, electrical power and/or electrical communication to the drones. A plurality of sensors located on the drones allows the drones to detect objects and environmental conditions in front of, behind or on either side of the moving vehicle in real-time and allow the vehicle to therein adjust its work accordingly. The drones may be controlled remotely by a user or may be automatically controlled by sensors.Type: ApplicationFiled: April 28, 2016Publication date: November 3, 2016Inventors: Pinakin Desai, Stephen M Faivre, Peter Joseph Zerillo
