  • Publication number: 20110067628
Abstract: A device for blocking workpieces for the processing and/or coating thereof, has a support surface for positioning the workpiece to be blocked, a blocking station in which the workpiece can be blocked on a blocking piece by a temporarily deformable blocking material, and a transport device which has a retaining head for the workpiece and by which a relative movement can be created between the workpiece being retained at the retaining head, and the support surface and the blocking station. The transport device has at least four position-controlled movement axes, by which to position the workpiece in a defined manner in consideration of the orientation and geometric information relative to a blocking piece located in the blocking station, and can be retained in the defined relative position to the blocking piece during blocking while leaving a blocking material accommodation gap between the workpiece and the blocking piece.

  • Publication number: 20050255802
Abstract: A grinding member is formed as a shape-elastic monolithic element and has at least partially a three-dimensional cell structure on a grinding surface of the grinding member. The grinding surface has a first abrasive agent. The grinding surface has at least partially an open-cell structure with open cells. The open cells of the grinding surface communicate via passages with cells of the interior of the grinding member. The cells in the interior of the grinding member that communicate via passages with the open cells of the grinding surface contain a second abrasive agent.

  • Publication number: 20050233681
Abstract: An abrasive element support having an axis of rotation and a fastening surface for attachment of an abrasive element is designed as a self-sucking device in the form of a radial fan device. The fastening surface has a fastening element such as a hook and loop fastening element that allows passage of grinding particles in a direction parallel to the fastening surface. The radial fan device has intake and exit openings, wherein the intake opening is arranged closer to the axis of rotation than the exit opening. The intake and exit openings communicate through at least one acceleration chamber of the radial fan device.

Abstract: A device for releasably connecting first and second rods together is characterized by a connecting flange mounted on one end surface of the first rod by a self-tapping screw. The flange includes at least one latch projecting from a surface thereof to engage a recess in the first rod in a form-locking manner. With the flange mounted on the end of the first rod, the first rod is connected with a side of the second rod so that the rods have perpendicular longitudinal axes. The second rod contains a groove along its side in which a pair of nuts are retained. Fastening screws pass through grooves in the first rod, through openings in the flange and into tap holes in the nuts to threadably connect the first rod with the second.
