  • Patent number: 10718335
Abstract: A turbomachine includes a housing and an electric motor in the housing. The electric motor has a shaft, a stator, and a rotor on the shaft. At least one impeller is arranged in a pump housing and driven by the shaft, the impeller having at least one ring of rotor blades delimiting a ring of blade chambers. A side channel is arranged in the pump housing opposite the ring of blade chambers and extends from the pump inlet as far as the pump outlet. A ramp is arranged at an end of the side channel in a radially inner half of the side channel. The ramp starts from a channel bottom, rises in a flow direction as far as the height of the pump housing wall, and merges with its radially outer half into the pump outlet.

  • Patent number: 10273960
Abstract: An impeller for a side channel flow machine has impeller blades. An inlet region of the impeller blade is off-set from the outlet region. The inlet region is connected to the outlet region via a sloped transition region. The impeller allows a high degree of efficiency of the side channel flow machine and can be produced at particularly low cost.

  • Patent number: 9879696
Abstract: An electric fluid pump having a rotor. The rotor of the pump is provided with elements that produce an at least partially axially directed fluid flow in the wet section of the pump during rotation of the rotor. This fluid flow serves to cool components of the pump that are arranged in or on the wet section.

  • Patent number: 9765792
Abstract: In a centrifugal pump for delivering liquids in a motor vehicle, annular webs project into a gap seal between a housing part and a cover disc of a rotor. The webs are arranged on both components of the housing part and of the cover disc and delimit chambers which accelerate, decelerate and divert a flow. In this way, the gap seal has a high throttling action.
