  • Publication number: 20240106269
Abstract: The above patent application describes a method for the direct unlimited use of excess electricity that occurs during periods of decline in consumption of the electrical network. Until now, excess electricity is used on a limited scale by its preliminary accumulation and storage, until a period of growth in electricity consumption begins. The proposed method includes the conversion of excess electricity directly, in unlimited volumes, into other types of energy, for example, into thermal energy or into the chemical energy of artificially produced hydrogen. Further, the converted energy enters directly, without the need for accumulation and storage, into the furnaces of boilers, gas turbines, or other heat-power equipment, partially or completely replacing the main fuel. This method allows savings of at least 250 billion US dollars annually in the USA and Canada alone. On a global scale, the annual savings will be at least $1.5 trillion.

  • Patent number: 11668311
Abstract: Blowers with variable nozzles are provided. A blower includes a fan, and a main body housing the fan, the main body defining an airflow path extending between an inlet end and an outlet end. A blower further includes a variable nozzle disposed at the outlet end. The variable nozzle includes an attachment collar, the attachment collar comprising a body defining an exterior surface and an interior surface and extending along a longitudinal axis. The variable nozzle further includes a plurality of air control bodies, each of the plurality of air control bodies movably connected to the attachment collar and comprising an air control surface and an extension rod. The variable nozzle further includes an adjustment collar, the adjustment collar disposed around the attachment collar and defining a plurality of adjustment channels, wherein each of the plurality of extension rods is disposed in one of the plurality of adjustment channels.

  • Publication number: 20150302053
Abstract: A computer-implemented domain name registration monitoring system and method is described in which a target name is monitored against new Internet domain name registrations. A target name is received from a user computing device and variations of the target name may be generated before a comparison is made against a data structure containing active domain name registrations. An interactive dashboard may be provided by an application server computing device for presenting matches to the user along with additional background information concerning the registrations.

  • Patent number: 6359882
Abstract: A system is provided for transmitting data over a high latency communication link. The system transmits a data packet from a first device to a second device over a low latency communication link. The second device acknowledges receipt of the data packet to the first device over the low latency communication link. The second device then transmits the data packet over the high latency communication link. The high latency communication link may be a satellite communication link. The low latency communication link may be a Transmission Control Protocol/Internet Protocol (TCP/IP) communication link. The system may also acknowledge receipt of the data packet before completing transmission of the data packet over the high latency communication link. The system is also capable of transmitting data over a high bandwidth communication link or an asymmetrical communication link.

  • Patent number: 6282172
Abstract: A system for controlling the flow of data receives a data packet from a source node for transmission across a communication medium to a destination node. The system generates an acknowledgment signal indicating receipt of the data packet at the destination node. The acknowledgment signal is generated before completing transmission of the data packet to the destination node. The system then transmits the acknowledgment signal to the source node, regardless of whether transmission of the data packet to the destination node is complete. Generation of the acknowledgment signal is performed by a device other than the destination node. The system buffers the received data packet until an actual acknowledgment signal is received from the destination node. When the actual acknowledgment signal is received, the buffered data packet is deleted from the buffer.

  • Patent number: 6123621
Abstract: A joint for transmitting shifting forces from a gear-shifting system of a transmission to a transmission drive member includes a pair of joint parts (1, 2) frictionally locked to the transmission drive member and to the gear-shifting system, a coupling (3) mounted between the joint parts (1, 2) and an elastically deforming device. The elastic deforming device is a damper (4) substantially enclosing omnidirectionally the coupling (3) in such manner that when the joint is not transmitting shifting forces, the damper (4) keeps the coupling (3) spaced from the joint parts (1, 2).

  • Patent number: 4970103
Abstract: A preformed part made of plastics material, especially a sheet-like plastics part made by injection molding is formed to be integral with elastic portions. The elastic portions serve as seals, as for feed-through holes in the plastics part. A ring-shaped circular closed protruding edge or ring-shaped rib, formed integrally with the plastics part around the regions to be coated with rubber, limit the region where elastic material is deposited to integrate with the plastics material. An annular region around rib has a radial span around the recesses, bore holes or edges into which the rubber material is injected, and enables insertion of the elastic material despite the presence of differential thermal expansion between the plastic part and a metal forming tool to shape the elastic material.
