  • Publication number: 20250082976
Abstract: The invention relates to a firefighting nozzle comprising a nozzle body (1) with a channel (11) that is suitable for the flow of extinguishing agent, and a closure (2) that is suitable for tightly closing the channel (11) to prevent the passage of extinguishing agent. The fire-fighting nozzle is characterized by a mechanical nozzle connection (31) for detachably anchoring a sensor carrier (4) to the nozzle body (1). The invention also relates to a sensor carrier (4) comprising a support body (41) which is provided with at least one sensor (42), with a signal transmitter (44) and with a mechanical support connection (43) for anchoring the support body (41) to a fire-fighting nozzle, wherein the sensor (42) is connected to the signal transmitter (44).

  • Publication number: 20240189640
Abstract: Closure for nozzles with heat activation for use in fire-fighting, comprising a nozzle body (1) and an outlet channel (11) which is kept tightly closed by means of a cover (5). The cover (5) is detachably connected to the nozzle body (1) and detaches in case of fire. At least one of the fastenings between the cover (5) and the nozzle body (1) is a releasable arrangement (6) and at least one other is a connection (7). The heat-sensitive element is integrated in the releasable arrangement (6) or acts thereon so that the releasable arrangement (6) is detached when the heat-sensitive element is released. The forces on the cover (5) are distributed between the detachable assembly (6) and the joint (7) so that the detachable assembly (6) carries only a fraction of these forces.

  • Publication number: 20240185525
Abstract: A system and method of managing a model, such as a digital twin. The method may involve receiving three-dimensional model data representative of a setting, converting the three-dimensional model data into a simplified model using a parallel processing pipeline architecture, rendering the simplified model using a three-dimensional model rendering platform, converting a view of the rendered model from a specific position at a specific angle into a streamable format, and transmitting the streamable format of the view of the rendered model to an end-user terminal over a network connection.

  • Patent number: 9054962
Abstract: A container that manages access to protected resources using rules to intelligently manage them includes an environment having a set of software and configurations that are to be managed. A rule engine, which executes the rules, may be called reactively when software accesses protected resources. The engine uses a combination of embedded and configurable rules. It may be desirable to assign and manage rules per process, per resource (e.g. file, registry, etc.), and per user. Access rules may be altitude-specific access rules.

  • Patent number: 8607887
Abstract: Disclosed is an intelligent, autonomously usable closure for misting nozzles, atomizing nozzles and sprinklers. A covering plate 20 is fixed on the closure having a heat tripping device, a nozzle body 2, outlet channel 11 and outlet opening 10 by means of a melt tripping device 5. The melt tripping device 5 is activated when necessary by a heat element 23 and the outlet opening 10 is released. A structural element 21, such as a disk spring, ensures at the melting moment of the melt tripping device 5 that a force F is applied and the covering plate 20 is separated with force from the outlet opening. In case of emergency, the release is triggered without energy. The proposed autonomous device can be used in a system network and can also be integrated into an existing system.

  • Publication number: 20090045347
Abstract: A detector module is disclosed including a plurality of directly converting detector submodules, each with a back contact, and a scattered radiation collimator spanning the detector submodules. For contacting the back contacts, a contacting unit is provided in at least one embodiment and designed so that a contact connection is established between the contacting unit and the counter-electrodes by way of assembly-related proximity of the scattered radiation collimator and the counter-electrodes.

  • Publication number: 20060231767
Abstract: A detector module is disclosed, having an array of detector elements and a printed circuit board. The printed circuit board includes a first region for holding the array of detector elements and includes at least one second region, angled off relative to the first region. On this at least one second region, signal-processing electronics may be arranged. The vertical design of the detector module allows the design of an area detector to be produced on the basis of a multiplicity of detector modules arranged next to one another. The area detector may be provided for a computer tomograph.

  • Publication number: 20050252665
Abstract: A closure which reacts to heat is proposed for pressurized water and extinguishant. The outlet opening (10) is located at the end of an outlet channel (11) and is closed by a cover plate (20). This cover plate (20) is firmly connected to the nozzle body (2) by means of a melting initiator (5) composed of solder or adhesive which reacts to heat in a narrow melting range and, when initiated, it is washed away on reaching the desired rated temperature, without adversely affecting the spray pattern.
