  • Patent number: 10519910
Abstract: A valve (or fuel injector), which provides that the valve-seat member exhibits high structural strength and fatigue strength under vibratory stresses, includes an excitable actuator for actuating a valve-closing member which, with a valve-seat face on the valve-seat member, forms a sealing seat, and injection openings which are downstream of the valve-seat face, the injection openings being in a center area of the valve-seat member projecting outwardly dome-like in the injection direction. The dome-like center area has a curved outer contour, the curvature in a radially inner section having a larger radius than the radius of the curvature in a radially outer section of the dome, which ends radially outside the mouth areas of all injection openings, in a recessed depression, that is followed radially outwardly by an axially projecting edge area of the valve-seat member. The fuel injector directly injects fuel into a combustion chamber of an engine.

  • Publication number: 20180283338
Abstract: An injector for injecting a fluid, in particular for injecting fuel, includes at least one closing element for opening and closing at least one through opening. The through opening includes an injection hole having a first center axis, and a preliminary stage having a second center axis. The first center axis of the injection hole and the second center axis of the preliminary stage of at least one of the through openings diverge.

  • Publication number: 20110144916
Abstract: A computer classification method and apparatus employs statistical analysis of known objects in the class of interest. For each known object in the class, a respective vector of q bits is formed. Each bit indicates presence or absence of an activity or physical property in the object. The probability that a bit is equal to 1 in the class is then applied to vector representations of test objects and determines probability of the test object belonging, to the class.

  • Publication number: 20060259996
Abstract: The present invention relates generally to tissue differentiation factor (TDF) analogs. More specifically, the invention relates to structure-based methods and compositions useful in designing, identifying, and producing molecules which act as functional modulators of TDF-like receptors. The invention further relates to methods of detecting, preventing, and treating TDF-associated disorders.
