  • Publication number: 20240295324
Abstract: The aim is to create a facility which is carried out without operator intervention, operates without delay, does not require a connection to the mains and meets the requirements of the regulations on permissible pollutant emissions. The device consists of a control unit which is electrically connected to two temperature sensors and a door contact switch and actuates an actuator via an electric motor and transmission elements. The temperature detection in the flue takes place behind the outlet of the respective combustion chamber. The temperature sensors record the temperature change over time and the speed of the temperature change. The temperature target-actual evaluation serves to record the burning state of the solid fuel. The degree of the outgassing process is carried out by recording and evaluating the temperature rise or temperature drop over time. The target-actual temperature over time in comparison with comparative values for combustion optimization is carried out as an adaptive system.

  • Patent number: 9696033
Abstract: The aim is to provide a gas control valve in which the specified desired value range can be subsequently shifted easily in order to optimize the range of settable temperatures for the heating device without exceeding the device- and/or installation-specific admissible use conditions. To this end, a setting element (17) which serves to change the position of a temperature-sensitive element (8) and thus to actuate a switch for activating a valve has a threaded part (12) that is screwable into the housing (1) of the gas control valve. In this case, the two are connected together in a rotationally secure manner via a releasable locking mechanism, wherein a tubular latching part (14) that is firmly connected to the threaded part (12) is arranged between the pot-like setting element (17), partially surrounding the threaded part (12) with a recess (18), and the threaded part (12).

  • Publication number: 20160215977
Abstract: The object of the invention is to provide a system for controlling combustion air supply, in which the air supply to the primary and secondary air supply can be infinitely variable. The object is also to enable said system to be retrofitted in furnaces having a primary and a secondary air supply. To achieve this, a housing (1) having an internal, pot-shaped insert (5) provided with radial openings (9; 10) associated with either the primary air supply (7) or the secondary air supply (8) of the furnace is located between the furnace and the supply line for the combustion air, the cross-sections of said openings being infinitely variable via a pivotally mounted (17) motion link, the rotary angle of which is restricted by one or more stops (19). The motion link (17) is actuated by means of a drive unit (13) which in turn can be controlled by a control unit (23).
