Publication number: 20140360412Abstract: A table includes a vertical support column and a base. The base includes a first floor engaging portion disposed on a first side of a vertical axis and a second floor engaging portion disposed on an opposite second side of the vertical axis. The first and second floor engaging portions are weighted such that the base has a center of gravity spaced from the vertical axis on the second side of the vertical axis. A worksurface member is supported by the vertical support column and is vertically spaced from the base. The worksurface member is rotatable relative to the base. In one aspect, the worksurface member has an overall length greater than the overall length of the base. In another aspect, a stop limits rotation of the worksurface member.Type: ApplicationFiled: March 11, 2014Publication date: December 11, 2014Applicant: Herman Miller, Inc.Inventors: GIANFRANCO ZACCAI, KEVIN ROBERT YOUNG, PETER KIRWAN BATES, JOHN F. Patent number: 8892718Abstract: Systems and methods for monitoring web service transactions include a monitoring server that is configured to monitor a web service transaction. The monitoring server allows a user to describe a sequence of web service requests that in combination define a web service transaction. The monitoring server sends out the web service requests in sequence to remote agents that are deployed in geographically diverse locations. The agents send the requests to the target web service and the results are provided back to the monitoring server. The monitoring server receives the results and then dynamically constructs the next request in the series based on the sequence of requests from the user and data from the response to a prior request. The dynamically constructed next request is then sent to remote agents for execution and the results are provided to the monitoring server.Type: GrantFiled: June 27, 2008Date of Patent: November 18, 2014Assignee: NeuStar, Inc.Inventors: Bach Le, Tim Drees, Lenny Ratchitsky, Peter Kirwan, Rares Saftoiu

Publication number: 20120284402Abstract: A monitoring system is provided that allows owners of monitoring accounts to share web monitoring data collected under the direction of the monitoring account. Account owners are able to interact with the monitoring system to identify recipient accounts for shared web monitoring data and apply permissions at a granular level so that portions of monitored data can be shared with varying permission levels. Grouping can also be employed by an account owner to facilitate efficient sharing of monitoring data to many recipient accounts. The monitoring system also provides analysis utilities that can be used by a recipient account to aggregate shared with owned data and generate related reports as desired.Type: ApplicationFiled: July 17, 2012Publication date: November 8, 2012Applicant: Neustar, Inc.Inventors: Peter Kirwan, JR., Rares Saftoiu, Lenny Rachitsky, Tim Drees, Brian Kwok-Leung Tsui

Patent number: 8157181Abstract: The invention relates to transaction tokens (“fobs”) having wireless functionality and methods of using the same. More specifically, fobs having radio frequency functionality such that information, such as payment information, identification information, or other like information, may be wirelessly transmitted from a memory within the fob to a receiver are disclosed. The fobs of this invention may comprise a microchip or other memory component, and/or antenna disposed on or within an insert and encased within an enclosure in an interior compartment. The fobs may have a quick-release mechanism for easily attaching to and detaching from a securing device, such as a keychain or the like. Moreover, the interior compartments of the fobs may be easily accessible for replacing the enclosed insert.Type: GrantFiled: August 16, 2010Date of Patent: April 17, 2012Assignee: American Express Travel Related Services Company, Inc.Inventors: Peter Kirwan Bates, David S.
