  • Patent number: 6216942
Abstract: A packaging system for bulk goods or material comprises a hollow polygonal blown plastic form or container for accommodating the material which is to be contained therein. A cardboard cover surrounds and is fixed to the hollow plastic form. The hollow plastic form has at least one outer edge indentation in a corner area, corresponding to a polygonal area of the cardboard cover which can be folded inside for locking or securement purposes, which is symmetrical to a corner fold line of the cardboard cover, and which is connected to the cardboard cover by at least one stamped line arranged perpendicular to the corner fold line and two fold lines forming a V-shape. The packaging system enables secure fastening between the hollow plastic form and the wrapper. To achieve this, the polygonal area of the cover is shaped as a square, and the V-shaped fold lines merge into two stamped lines culminating in a point.

  • Patent number: 5827456
Abstract: A plastic bottle, made of polyethylene (PE), polypropylene (PP), or poly(ethylene terephthalate) (PET), blown with a very thin overall wall thickness within the range 0.1 to 0.3 mm, includes a triangular or polygonal cross-section, the bottle being preferably surrounded by a supporting jacket. The bottle can be blown with a uniform wall thickness and adequate strength without the need for reinforcing ribs via walls formed by pressing them against the surface of a blow mold which has been worked at least in some areas by etching, form-cutting or eroding, having features with heights of 0.05 to 0.15 mm.

  • Patent number: 4993595
Abstract: A multicomponent product container includes two separate component compartments covered by a common pouring cap, individual pouring openings for the first and second components contained in the compartments, respectively, offset from one another relative to the longitudinal axis of the container and opening in the plane of an outer surface provided in said cap. The pouring openings are each juxtaposed in the pouring direction necessary to dispense the first and second components, by an individual pouring edge, which both rises beyond the outer surface of the cap, and projects beyond the associated pouring opening in the lateral or peripheral direction. Each pouring edge is shaped for providing in the tilted position of the container necessary for pouring via gravity said first and second components from said pouring openings, a sink formed in the region of the associated pouring opening.

  • Patent number: 4883203
Abstract: Dispensing storage containers and assemblies of such containers secured over the conventional cup-like cap of a bottle designed to contain a supply of laundry treatment material. The dispensing storage containers have a shell housing, a closed base end, an open filling end and a cover including media transfer holes and means for securing it over the filling end of the container to disperse laundry treatment material from the container into the wash during use. The open filling end has a collar forming an opening sufficiently wide to receive and be secured over the cup-like bottle cap during periods of non-use, and the base end of the container preferably includes a flange means to which the cover can be secured on the assembly.

  • Patent number: 4700857
Abstract: A container or the like for cleaning preparations comprising a fused closure which consists of a stopper disposed in a closure hole of the container and made of a material which melts at a predetermined temperature and which releases the closure hole for the exit of product packaged in the container. A ring of which the thickness increases radially inwards towards the axis of the hole is integrally formed with the inner peripheral surface of the closure hole. The position and shape of the stopper are stabilized by a film applied by sealing to the outside of the closure hole. The walls of the container are flexible to accomodate changes in pressure inside the container.
