  • Publication number: 20150325861
Abstract: The present invention concerns electrode catalysts used in fuel cells, such as proton exchange membrane (PEM) fuel cells. The invention is related to the reduction of the noble metal content and the improvement of the catalytic5 efficiency by low level substitution of the noble metal to provide new and innovative catalyst compositions in fuel cell electrodes. The novel electrode catalysts of the invention comprise a noble metal selected from Pt and Pd alloyed with a lanthanide metal.

  • Patent number: 8985920
Abstract: A blade holding apparatus for holding one end of a wind turbine blade during handling, which blade holding apparatus includes a support structure including an opening for accommodating one end of the wind turbine blade, a clamping arrangement arranged in the opening, which clamping arrangement is realized to exert a clamping force on the wind turbine blade, and a locking arrangement for locking the clamping arrangement relative to the support structure. A method of operating such a blade holding apparatus during a handling procedure of a wind turbine blade is also provided.

  • Publication number: 20070252921
Abstract: A display, such as for use in a mobile telephone, comprising a light transmissive display, such as a Liquid Crystal Display (LCD), having there under a light transmitting plate adapted to guide light therein and then through the light transmissive display. Between the light emitters and the plate, a number of tapered light guides are provided so that the space between the tapers may be used for e.g. electronic components. The use of the light guides provides more space for electronic components and furthermore provides a more freely selectable positioning of the light emitters.

  • Publication number: 20050054395
Abstract: A novel folding design for a mobile station is disclosed that provides a stylish design, a simplified assembly, and relatively few parts. The improved foldable mobile station comprises a flexible front cover, multiple functional units coupled together by a folding hinge and a tension unit. The tension unit provides a compressive force to the pivotally attached functional units thereby biasing the foldable mobile station between open and folded positions.
