Patent number: 11920206Abstract: A cold rolled steel flat product for packaging made of a low carbon steel having a thickness of less than 0.49 mm and a method of making. The steel flat product has a martensite-free microstructure and represents a standard grade for packaging with tensile strengths from 300 to 550 MPa, which can be produced from a cold-rolled steel sheet with a carbon content from 0.01% to 0.1% by weight by inductive annealing of the steel sheet and subsequent water cooling for quenching the recrystallization-annealed steel sheet. To achieve flatness of 5 I-units or less, the induction annealed steel sheet is first primarily cooled in the manufacturing process to a take-off temperature at a rate of less than 1000 K/s, with the take-off temperature being below the transformation temperature of 723° C., and thereafter a secondary cooling by water cooling with a water temperature of less than 80° C. at a rate of more than 1000 K/s.Type: GrantFiled: October 3, 2022Date of Patent: March 5, 2024Assignee: thyssenkrupp Rasselstein GmbHInventors: Burkhard Kaup, Peter Kirchesch, Manuel Köhl, Dimitrios Nouskalis, Alexander Gossen, Björn Ehmke

Publication number: 20060099559Abstract: A device for analysing manual thumps, applied to simulate pre-cordial thumps for the treatment of a dysrhythmia of the heart of a patient, has an array of force-detecting, proportional sensors having a frequency response of at least 1 kHz, usually 10 kHz or more. A preferred form of sensor has a key for receiving an applied force mounted for movement relative to a support with a spring having a preselected spring constant coupled therebetween. An optical sensor and grating detect the displacement of the key relative to the support. This sensor provides advantages of being fast, accurate and truly proportional. The device has an electronic circuit for receiving the output signal of each sensor and outputting the output signals to an external computer running a program to analyse and display the output signals. The device may be used to study the biophysical parameters of a pre-cordial thump or as a teaching tool to train users in the correct application of a pre-cordial thump.Type: ApplicationFiled: March 4, 2004Publication date: May 11, 2006Inventors: Peter Kohl, Christian Boulin

Patent number: 5010050Abstract: In a process of producing composite materials consisting of sheet metal plates, metal strips and foils and provided with a skeleton surface structure, a layer of a metal powder which is difficultly flowable and consists of irregularly shaped particles is applied to a continuously moved metallic carrier layer and is bonded to said carrier layer by cold roll cladding and is sintered in a reducing atmosphere at temperatures of 600.degree. to 1000.degree. C. In order to produce composite materials in which the skeleton structure constitutes a layer that is of uniform thickness throughout the surface and is firmly bonded to the carrier layer, the metal powder is uniformly distributed and applied as regards its bulk volume using a distributing roller, which rotates opposite to the main direction of movement of the carrier layer, whereby a uniform thickness is obtained.Type: GrantFiled: April 18, 1989Date of Patent: April 23, 1991Assignee: Metallgesellschaft AGInventors: Heinz Wullenweber, Peter Kohl, Herbert Jung, Jurgen Borchardt, Wolfgang Bickle, Jurgen Braus
