  • Patent number: 6158689
Abstract: A yarn winding machine for winding a continuously advancing yarn into packages, the yarn being guided in a yarn traversing mechanism which includes a traversing unit and a grooved roll downstream thereof in the direction of the advance of the yarn. To transfer the yarn from a full package mounted on one winding spindle to an empty tube mounted on another winding spindle, the spindle mounting the full yarn package is moved to a doffing position and the spindle mounting the empty winding tube is moved to the winding position. The machine is provided with a yarn deflection device, which comprises a guide plate extending parallel to the circumference of the grooved roll, and a yarn guide adapted for movement in a direction parallel to the winding spindles.

  • Patent number: 6065496
Abstract: An electromagnetically actuated directional control valve is proposed, whose control slide (18) can be switched against a restoring spring system (45) into three switching positions (39, 41, 42) by a double-lift magnet (12). The spring system (45) has a strong spring (31) and a counter-acting weak spring (37), which are disposed on both sides of the control slide (18). With a pushing magnet (12), the control slide (18) is solely deflected against the weak spring (37), which is supported on it over the entire lift area. With a pulling magnet (12), a spring plate (32), which centers the center position (39), is pulled way from the control slide (18), which now is displaced by the weak spring (37), against the force of the strong spring (31). The tappet (29), connected with the armature, and the control slide (18) are separate independent components, which only form a frictionally connected operative connection.

  • Patent number: 5197709
Abstract: An electromagnetically actuated directional control valve has a housing having a chamber, a control slider guided in the housing so as to be longitudinally movable, a restoring device centering the control slider and including a restoring spring and a spring plate, a magnet having an armature which can deflect the slider into a working position against a force of the restoring spring, a pressure tube communicating with the chamber in the housing via a pressure medium and receiving the armature. The pressure tube receives the restoring spring and the spring plate in its interior. The pressure tube also has a support which prevents the spring plate from falling out.

  • Patent number: 5062810
Abstract: In order to improve a plug insert for a metal tube housing comprising a cact carrier with plug pins protruding from a first side thereof and solder terminals from a second side thereof opposite the first side, and a protective sleeve insertable in the metal tube so as to surround the contact carrier, with the protective sleeve extending with its front side from the first side of the contact carrier in a first direction parallel to the plug pins at least as far as one end thereof and forming in a second direction opposite the first direction a protective collar protruding beyond the second side of the plug element, such that it is also usable for high insulation voltages, in particular insulation voltages of 250 V and more, it is proposed that the protective sleeve and the contact carrier be two parts which can be put together, that the protective sleeve have a receiving means for insertion and fixing of the contact carrier therein, and that the protective collar protrude in the second direction beyond the sol

  • Patent number: 4489467
Abstract: Mounting device for a rod-shaped proximity switch which is constructed, apart from a tightening screw (10), as a one-piece injection moulded plastic part. The latter has a fastening part (12) provided with holes (14) for fastening bolts; at the ends of the fastening part (12), small block-shaped parts extending away from the fastening part to the side are moulded on, one of which forms a rigid clamping jaw (16) and the other, a small rigid supporting block (18). Between these two blocks there is a moveable clamping jaw (20), also designed to be shaped like a small block, which on the side facing away from the fastening part (12) is connected with the small rigid supporting block (18) by way of a flexible web (22). The small rigid supporting block (18) has, next to the fastening part (12), a threaded hole (24) for a tightening screw (10) to apply pressure to the moveable clamping jaw (20) in the direction of the rigid clamping jaw (16).

  • Patent number: 4089344
Abstract: A two-way pressure-control valve has a housing formed with an axially extending bore adjacent whose front end opens a front port and adjacent whose rear end opens a rear port. A valve body is slidable in the bore between the rear port and the front end and a piston is slidable in the bore between the rear end and the rear port. Thus the valve body can slide across the front port and block fluid flow between the ports via the bore, and the valve body and the piston define a front compartment, a middle compartment always connected to the rear port and connectable to the front port when the valve body is moved forwardly, and a rear compartment. A passage is formed in the housing for connecting the front port to the rear compartment so that the pressure in the middle and rear ports is always effective across the piston. In addition the valve body is formed with an axially through-going small-diameter orifice that allows pressurization of the front compartment to the same pressure as the middle compartment.
