  • Publication number: 20230138103
Abstract: The present invention provides gene silencing agents that are capable of silencing the expression of the Coronavirus gene(s), e.g., SARS-CoV-2, both in vitro and in vivo. The present invention further provides general and specific compositions and methods of using such compositions that can be used to reduce specific SARS-CoV-2 protein levels or SARS-CoV-2 titers, in a subject, e.g., a mammal such as a human, for research or therapeutic purposes, for example to manage or treat conditions related to Coronavirus infection, e.g., COVID-19.

  • Patent number: 10380104
Abstract: A database system searches for any statements that satisfy one or more of a set of filtering criteria. When a given dynamic query statement fully satisfies the set of filtering criteria, the given statement is stabilized by persistently storing a bound form of the given dynamic query statement. When the given dynamic query statement partly satisfies the set of filtering criteria, a monitoring request is created with the set of filtering criteria to begin monitoring subsequent executions of the statement, and the statement is linked to the monitoring request. When the given dynamic query statement subsequently fully satisfies the set of filtering criteria, the statement is stabilized by persistently storing the bound form of the statement. When the given dynamic query is re-executed, the stabilized statement is loaded, and the PREPARE process is bypassed.

  • Publication number: 20140317012
Abstract: A method of enabling philanthropic donation includes receiving from a user target data designating a donation target and item data corresponding to a non-monetary item. A processor automatically determines a currency amount of a monetary currency using the received item data and automatically produces a donation record indicating that the determined currency amount should be donated as specified by the designated donation target by a donating party different from the user. The donation can be verified and the user informed if the donation is not permitted. A system for enabling philanthropic donation includes the processor, a storage device storing target-menu data including indications of a plurality of donation targets, and a communications interface adapted to provide to the user at least some of the target-menu data and to receive the target and item data including social media functionalities for the user.
