    Abstract: A cutback of a mixture of bitumen and rubber is prepared by treating a mixture of bitumen and rubber with a peroxide at 100.degree.-240.degree. C. and adding a volatile solvent. The obtained cutback can easily be sprayed on roads and shows a good retention for chippings.
