  • Patent number: 11463407
Abstract: An industrial control system (ICS) communicates via ICS protocols. A model is deployed in an information technology (IT) and operation technology (OT) network. Security policies are dynamically updated as the particular IT and OT network are used, patched, and modified. A deep packet inspection is used to enforce ICS constraints and ICS behaviors defined by the initial model. A state of the deep packet inspection is reported for situational awareness and debugging purposes. An alert is transmitted when anomalies are detected when ICS protocol traffic traverses ICS firewall network paths that execute ICS policies.
    Type: Grant
    Filed: July 12, 2019
Date of Patent: October 4, 2022
    Assignee: Raytheon Company
Inventors: Kendall L. Hefley, Peter L. Stewart, Gregory A. Ladd

  • Patent number: 10104511
Abstract: Discussed herein are systems, devices, and methods for providing recommendations and notifications to an end user. A system can include an intelligence server including a common message server (CMS), query manager circuitry, an intelligence database, and alerting service circuitry, the CMS communicatively coupled between each of the query manager circuitry and the intelligence database, and the alerting service circuitry and the query manager circuitry, an intelligence computer communicatively coupled to the CMS of the intelligence server, the intelligence computer including a recommendation user interface (UI) and a notifier UI, and a mobile device communicatively coupled to the CMS, the mobile device configured to receive notifications and recommendations from the intelligence computer that are routed to the mobile device through the CMS.

  • Publication number: 20100088310
Abstract: In accordance with one embodiment, a method includes receiving a query request comprising geospatial filter criteria. The query request may be received from a mobile client computing system capable of displaying query results as overlays on a digital map. The digital map may be stored at the mobile client computing system and the query results may be stored at a server. First and second portions of the query results may be wirelessly transmitted from the server to the mobile client computing system. The first and second portions may be transmitted during first and second communication sessions between the mobile client computing system and the server. The first and second communication sessions may occur during respective time intervals temporally separated from each other by a gap interval. The client may be capable of concatenating the transmitted first and second portions of the query results.
