Patent number: 12145456Abstract: Modular coil assemblies for wireless charging of vehicles have coil geometries and communications designed to limit electromagnetic field (EMF) levels in regions where humans or other living objects may be present. The modular coil assemblies are designed with the ability to shape the magnetic field to be predominately within shielding provided by the auto chassis by, for example, providing side-by-side phase cancellation or diagonal versus front-to-back (for 1×3, 2×3 array configurations) phase cancellation. The power levels and frequency offset pairwise compensation of the respective coils may be controlled to improve cancellation and thus to reduce magnetic field exposure potential. The phase cancellation of the magnetic flux density from respective coil assemblies varies over a range to provide, for example, ?50% cancellation at 125° offset and up to ?100% cancellation at 180°.Type: GrantFiled: April 5, 2023Date of Patent: November 19, 2024Assignee: InductEV, Inc.Inventors: Peter C. Schrafel, Francis J. McMahon, Matthew L. Ward

The drug delivery system may further include one or more sensors coupled to the drug delivery device, and a controller coupled to the one or more sensors and the one or more controllable elements. The controller may be configured to use the one or more sensors to determine a condition or an operational state of the drug delivery device. Furthermore, the controller may be configured to control the controllable element based on the condition or the operational state of the drug delivery device and/or identity information stored in a memory onboard the device. A method for use with a drug delivery device is also disclosed.Type: ApplicationFiled: April 25, 2024Publication date: August 22, 2024Inventors: Adam B. McCullough, Basel Hasan Taha, Jimmie L. Patent number: 10218931Abstract: A method and system for airing broadcast signals is disclosed. Preferably, the system includes a production truck interface panel receiving a broadcast signal. A transmission relay circuit relays the signal from the interface panel to a broadcast network, and preferably including a broadcast signal detection circuit, and a signal processing circuit. The detection circuit determines a signal type of the broadcast signal, and the signal processing circuit processes the determined signal type. The system preferably further includes an operations control station displaying the determined type of broadcast signal.Type: GrantFiled: January 8, 2018Date of Patent: February 26, 2019Assignee: Level 3 Communications, LLCInventors: David J. Keener, John S. Jones, Peter L. Ward
