Abstract: The present invention relates to a drapable core material suitable for use in closed mould systems, hand lay-up applications and/or spray-up applications, preferably having a compression-resistance of more than 30% at 1 bar pressure, wherein core material is based on at least one fibrous web containing a foam-structure within the web, said foam-structure being formed of a plurality of members, which members are separated from each other by channels which channels are permeable to resin. The invention further relates to a laminate comprising such core material, a method for manufacturing the core material and a method for manufacturing such laminate.
