  • Patent number: 6762513
Abstract: An electrical accessory device controller system and process for controlling for a motor vehicle having a vehicle battery and an alternator. The system is provided with an electrical interface for an electrical accessory device, a device for detecting the voltage of the vehicle electrical system, and a power supply control unit to connect the electrical accessory device to the battery according to the detected battery voltage or to disconnect the electrical accessory device from it. Furthermore, there is an auxiliary energy storage device rechargeable by the alternator and which is connected to the power supply control unit. The power supply control unit is made such that depending on the detected voltage of the vehicle electrical system it electrically connects the auxiliary power storage device to the electrical accessory device to the battery or disconnects the electrical accessory device from it.

  • Patent number: 6643976
Abstract: A pressure sensor device is described that has a diaphragm acted upon by a working medium, on a first side, and a sensor chip, which is disposed on a second side of the diaphragm that is remote from the working medium. There is formed in the sensor chip a measuring bridge having four sensor elements, which form two pairs disposed parallel, and the pairs are disposed at right angles to one another. The sensor elements are disposed such that they are closely spaced apart from one another in the edge region of the sensor chip that faces toward the central point of the diaphragm.

  • Publication number: 20030097207
Abstract: A process for activating a motor vehicle accessory (12), especially an auxiliary motor vehicle heater, and device for controlling the motor vehicle accessory (12) in which the activation commands for the motor vehicle accessory are input into a control part (10) which has control keys (11), an operating system, application software (16) which is specific to the activation of the motor vehicle accessory, a display (15) which also serves as an activation surface, and a data transmission interface (18), the activation commands are processed into activation data in the control part using the application software, the activation data are transmitted via the data transmission interface of the control part to the data transmission interface (21) of a base station (20) and are converted there into radio signals, the radio signals obtained in this way are output via a radio interface (22) and are transmitted to a radio remote control remote terminal (25) in the motor vehicle (13), and the motor vehicle accessory is ac

  • Patent number: 6526832
Abstract: A disk-shaped silicon sensor element for a pressure sensor is described. The sensor element has a disk upper side, a disk underside, stress measuring elements that convert mechanical stresses into signals, and circuits disposed on the disk upper side. The disk underside serves during a pressure measurement for receiving a force that acts as a bending pressure for bending the disk-shaped silicon sensor element. The sensor element is formed with essentially the same thickness over its entire extent.
