  • Patent number: 9843698
Abstract: A print system made up of networked devices, which include a management server, a client, and a printer. The client provides attribute information, indicating at least one attribute of the client, and capability information, indicating a capability of the client, to the management server. The management server uses the capability and attribute information provided by the client to generate a map indicating, for each of a plurality of services forming part of a print process, address information of at least one networked device capable of performing the service. The management server provides the map to the client. The client uses the address information of the map in the performance of the print process.

  • Publication number: 20170165848
Abstract: A method and a gonioradiometer for the direction-dependent measurement of at least one photometric or radiometric characteristic of an optical radiation source. The emission direction of the photometric or radiometric characteristic is described using a system of planes (A, B, C), the planes of which intersect at an intersection line which passes through the radiation centroid of the radiation source, and using an emission angle (?, ?, ?) which specifies the emission direction (?, ?, ?) within a considered plane. A sensor or the radiation source is fastened to a multi-axis articulated robot. The robot is configured to only swivel about precisely one of its axes during a measuring process, in which measurement values relating to different emission angles (?, ?, ?) within a considered plane of the system of planes (A, B, C) or to different planes at a considered emission angle (?, ?, ?) are detected.

  • Publication number: 20140107830
Abstract: A method detects parameters of a traversing or circulating material web in a material processing machine. At least one oscillation parameter of at least one transverse oscillation which occurs on the material web is detected contactlessly by at least one sensor. At least one parameter of the material web which results from said oscillation parameter is determined. Furthermore, a device detects parameters of a traversing or circulating material web in a material processing machine.

  • Publication number: 20130203951
Abstract: A graft copolymer based on a component a) consisting of silica which has been reacted with an unsaturated silane, and a polymer component b) containing sulphonic acid is proposed. The silica used is preferably a nanosilica and the unsaturated silane is an ethylenically unsaturated alkoxysilane. The component b) is represented by a copolymer based on AMPS and a further ethylenically unsaturated monomer. The polymer according to the invention, which as a rule is a nanocomposite, is outstandingly suitable as an additive in construction chemistry applications and in the development, exploitation and completion of underground mineral oil and natural gas deposits, its effect as a water retention agent being particularly advantageous at high salinities and increased temperatures.

  • Publication number: 20120078269
Abstract: The invention is directed to an epilator apparatus for the removal of hair. The epilator apparatus comprises a tape, which adheres to the hairs as the apparatus is moved relative to the skin. The motion of the apparatus relative to the skin feeds the tape into the plucking zone where the tape with the hairs adhered thereto is redirected perpendicular to the skin. This redirection results in the hairs being plucked from the skin as the epilator apparatus is advanced.
