  • Publication number: 20210229310
Abstract: An assembly for immobilizing a chainsaw that includes a platform. The platform having a proximal end and a distal end, and a top surface. The assembly having an upstanding anchor hook and a clamp coupled to the platform for immobilizing the chainsaw. The upstanding anchor hook is configured to receive a front handle of the chainsaw and the clamp is configured to receive a rear handle of the chainsaw, such as to restrict the horizontal and vertical movement of the chainsaw.

  • Patent number: 5788436
Abstract: Method for producing a book binding that is comprised of at least one book binding sheet, having at least one book binding cover that is connected to a binding spine, in which a strip of molten adhesive is applied on the inner side of the binding sheet at the point that is to form the spine. Before it is applied, the molten adhesive is heated so that the adhesive is in a plastic state. In order to ensure that the molten adhesive is applied securely in the desired shape and with little cost, the molten adhesive (10, 41) is reshaped after being at least partially applied to the binding sheet (11, 40).

  • Patent number: 5454680
Abstract: The invention concerns a binding apparatus to bind loose sheets in covers of which the spines are provided on their insides with a thermoplastic adhesive in order to form volumes, said apparatus comprising a frame with two mutually adjustably spaced rest walls forming an insertion shaft for the covers, said insertion shaft being provided at the bottom with a heating and with a cooling system. To be able to process substantial quantities of volumes to be bound, the insertion shaft 11 is extended at least on one side and the cooling system 20 is received in this extension and a conveyor assembly 27 with revolving drive 30 is provided to move the covers 9 placed into the insertion shaft 11 from the heating system 19 to the cooling system 20.

  • Patent number: 5160234
Abstract: A sheet binder includes a frame having first and second spaced parallel support walls for receiving therebetween a plurality of sheet to be bound. The walls each have a first end for defining therebetween an opening into which the sheets are inserted, and a second end defining therebetween a binding zone. A heating plate and deposition base are operably associated with the second ends for applying an adhesive strip to associated edges of the sheets for binding the sheets together. The plate and base are displaceably supported within the frame for being linearly and alternatingly moved into and out of the binding zone.

  • Patent number: 4674932
Abstract: Binding equipment is disclosed which binds loose sheets in covers which have thermoplastic adhesive at their backs to bind the sheets when such adhesive is heated. The equipment has two mutually spaced and parallel support walls to support the loose sheets within the covers. One of the walls is fixed and the other is movable within the frame supporting the walls. A support for the back of the cover is provided underneath the movable wall. This support is provided with a heater to activate the thermoplastic adhesive. The carriage mounting the movable wall moves along a displacement plane which slants upwards towards the fixed support wall.
