  • Patent number: 11032001
Abstract: Bandwidth part (BWP) switching may benefit a wireless communications system. Such BWP switching may include indication of one or more timing parameters used for time domain resource allocation. For example, the timing parameters may be indicated based on an index to a look-up table (e.g., a bit field in a control transmission). In some cases, one or more tables may be configured for a given BWP, and different tables may contain a different number of rows. The size of the bit field indexing the table may in turn depend on the number of rows. When switching from a first BWP to a second BWP, the size of the bit field may be based on the table of the first BWP, but the bit field may index the table of the second BWP. Techniques supporting improved timing parameter management during BWP switching are discussed herein.

  • Publication number: 20210165557
Abstract: Disclosed herein are system, method, and computer program product embodiments for displaying a three-dimensional representation of a media source in an augmented reality meeting space. An embodiment operates by building an augmented reality (AR) meeting space comprising structured data received from a plurality of apps operating on a mobile device of a user. The structured data is translated into a three-dimensional representation of the structured data corresponding to each of the plurality of apps. A three-dimensional representation of the home screen of the mobile device of the user is rendered in the AR meeting space. It is detected that a particular one the plurality of apps has received updated content. The three-dimensional representation of the home screen is re-rendered including a visual modification to the particular one of the plurality of apps indicating that the updated content has been received.

  • Patent number: 11019610
Abstract: Aspects of the present disclose provide various methods and apparatuses for communicating, controlling, and configuring component carrier and bandwidth part (BWP). A scheduling entity receives a capability report from a user equipment (UE). The capability report indicates a capability of the UE to utilize at least one of carrier aggregation (CA) or one or more bandwidth parts. The scheduling entity transmits a command to the UE to reconfigure at least one of a CA configuration or a bandwidth part (BWP) configuration. The scheduling entity determines an anticipated response timing of an acknowledgment (ACK) of the command based on the capability report received from the UE. The scheduling entity receives the ACK according to the anticipated response timing.

  • Patent number: 11012981
Abstract: Methods, systems, and devices for wireless communications are described. A wireless device may identify a default monitoring periodicity for monitoring a control channel for a slot format indicator (SFI). For example, the default monitoring periodicity may be based on semi-static control signaling received from a base station or another suitable network entity. The wireless device may subsequently receive an indication of a dynamic monitoring periodicity for monitoring the control channel for the SFI. In some cases, the dynamic monitoring periodicity indication may be included in the SFI. The wireless device may then monitor the control channel for the SFI based at least in part on the dynamic monitoring periodicity.

  • Publication number: 20210136798
Abstract: Methods, systems, and devices for wireless communications are described. A base station may implement cross-carrier scheduling. A user equipment (UE) may identify a minimum scheduling delay and may receive a downlink grant on a first CC. The UE may further identify the slot in which a downlink data transmission corresponding to the downlink grant will be received, and may identify the slot such that the minimum scheduling delay is satisfied. The UE may the receive the downlink data transmission, as indicated in the downlink grant, in the identified slot. In some examples, the UE and the base station may alternate between a long minimum scheduling delay and a short minimum scheduling delay. In some examples, the UE and the base station may alternate between a cross-carrier mode, and a self-scheduling mode.

  • Publication number: 20210123966
Abstract: An approach to detecting partial discharge events involves retrofitting an electrical system to include a capacitive sensor configured to capacitively sense partial discharge events of a component of the electrical system. The capacitive sensor has a first electrical conductor that forms a first terminal of the capacitive sensor, a second electrical conductor that forms a second terminal of the capacitive sensor, and a dielectric that separates the first electrical conductor and the second electrical conductor. The capacitive sensor generates an electrical sensor signal at an output of the capacitive sensor in response to the partial discharge event. The electrical sensor signal is converted to an optical signal and the optical signal is processed to detect an occurrence of the partial discharge event.

  • Patent number: 10993254
Abstract: Different sets of downlink control information (DCI) fields may be configured for DCI that includes an indication to trigger bandwidth part switching at a user equipment (UE). For example, a UE may receive DCI that triggers the UE to switch operation from a first bandwidth part to a second bandwidth part. The UE may also identify a set of transformable DCI fields and a set of non-transformable DCI fields within the DCI. The UE may then determine updated content of the DCI for application to the second bandwidth part based on whether DCI fields are included in the set of transformable or the set of non-transformable fields. In some cases, the UE may identify a null assignment in the received DCI and may switch its operation from the first bandwidth part to the second bandwidth part based on the null assignment.
