  • Publication number: 20240123813
Abstract: A generator module for a vehicle includes a housing arranged for fixing to an engine block of a combustion engine, a stator, fixed in the housing, a rotor, rotatable relative to the stator, a hub fixed to the rotor and arranged for fixing to a crankshaft of the combustion engine, a ring gear carrier fixed to the hub, a intermediate plate connected to the ring gear carrier by a first flexible element, a rotor carrier plate fixed to the rotor and connected to the intermediate plate by a second flexible element, and a first friction material segment disposed axially between the intermediate plate and the rotor carrier plate. In an example embodiment, the first friction material segment is a first friction material ring. In an example embodiment, the generator module also includes a ring gear fixed to the ring gear carrier.

  • Patent number: 11028084
Abstract: A method is for treatment of a disease associated with genotoxic stress-induced inhibitor of nuclear factor-?B kinase/nuclear factor kappa-light chain enhancer of activated B cells (IKK/NF-?B) signaling. The method can include administering a compound to a subject having a cancer exhibiting genotoxic stress induced IKK/NF-?B activation.

  • Publication number: 20180154597
Abstract: A method for making a V-ribbed belt is made by inserting a first partial blank in the form of a base tube into a cylindrical vulcanization mold having a negative of a V-ribbed profile. The first partial blank is molded into a surrounding negative and thus provided with the V-ribbed profile without vulcanization. A second partial blank made as a top ply tube with a tension strand is inserted into the virtually completely molded-in base tube and is expanded under heat and pressure so that the top ply tube and the base tube are bonded to one another. Thereafter, the latter is molded into the surrounding negative of the vulcanization mold, and the top ply tube and the base tube are vulcanized to form a V-ribbed blank, whereafter the V-ribbed blank is removed from the vulcanization mold and is fed to the cutting device.

  • Publication number: 20070213216
Abstract: A shiny metal base ornament is configured with a series of concentric geometric figures of sequentially decreasing sizes from periphery toward center, with a slot separating juxtaposed geometric figures, and a spine joins juxtaposed geometric figures across the slot. A surface coating is of clear substrate suited to receive dye sublimation inks. The coating carries a graded surface color scheme of dye sublimation inks. A method of forming employs a computerized physical design and an extracted cutout image that provides a template for a coloration pattern that registers precisely with the physical ornament. Color gradations cross slots to coat cut edges during sublimation.

  • Patent number: 6340131
Abstract: A method for performing a batch change in an automatic cheese winder, which has many identical winding stations disposed in sections and a transportation system for supplying yarn-wound spinning cops to and removing empty unwound spinning cops from the winding stations. Transport trays for transporting spinning cops or empty tubes revolve within the transportation system, which has many different transport paths, among others transverse transport paths leading to the winding stations. The clearing away of an old batch of yarn is done section by section. Thus, from the transverse transport paths of one winding station section, spinning cop-carrying transport trays are discharged until such time as that section has been cleared out. The temporary storage of empty transport trays in the transverse transport paths of a cleared winding station section is already begun while adjacent winding station sections are still being cleared.
