  • Patent number: 8704406
Abstract: A solar power plant is disclosed for converting solar energy into electric energy, and having a plurality of solar cell units, each solar cell unit containing a first cell pole and a second cell pole. The cell poles can cooperate for feeding electric energy produced by the solar cell unit as direct current out of the solar cell unit. A direct-current converter can include a plurality of direct-current input poles and two direct-current output poles, each direct-current input pole being connected to at least one cell pole. The direct-current converter can convert input direct currents entered via the direct-current input poles, and having input voltages, into an output direct current having an output voltage, and feed the output direct current via the direct-current output poles out of the direct-current converter.

  • Publication number: 20110314384
Abstract: An email handling system having a mobile terminal with a processor, a user interface and an email database for storing email messages with attachments. The processor is arranged for fetching from the email database and displaying on the user interface, a list of email messages of an email account, responsive to an input command from a user to add an attachment to an outgoing email message. The processor fetches from the email database and displays on the user interface a list of attachments of a selected first email message out of the list of email messages, responsive to an input command from a user selecting the first email message. The system adds to the outgoing email message a selected first attachment out of the list of attachments from an existing email message responsive to a user input command.

  • Publication number: 20060271568
Abstract: The various embodiments of the invention provide a data processing system and method, for applications such as marketing campaign management, speech recognition and signal processing. An exemplary system embodiment includes a first data repository adapted to store a plurality of entity and attribute data; a second data repository adapted to store a plurality of entity linkage data; a metadata data repository adapted to store a plurality of metadata modules, with a first metadata module having a plurality of selectable parameters, received through a control interface, and having a plurality of metadata linkages to a first subset of metadata modules; and a multidimensional data structure. The control interface may modify the plurality of selectable parameters in response to received control information.

  • Publication number: 20060192044
Abstract: The instant invention is a deep water fishing rod and reel system. The fishing rod employs a substantially flat wishbone structure that eliminates the need for guides along the length of the rod by allowing the fishing line to between two elongated members that constituted the rod during flex conditions, such as when retrieving a fish. A swivel roller is placed at the distal end of the rod allowing fishing line from a reel to the swivel roller to pass unobstructed through the rod structure. An electric reel includes a cantilever spool having an enlarged interior allowing the fisherman to control free spooling by use of one or more fingers to frictionally engage the inner surface of the spool. A two stage drag system employs a first set of springs to allow free spooling with a hands off, minimal drag operation and a second set of springs for proper setting for the fish hauling.

  • Publication number: 20050284394
Abstract: An improved liquid pump for transporting live fish or other products in an induced flow has secondary line with one end to be placed in a pool of liquid containing fish or other products. The other end of the line is connected to a housing having an internal pump chamber. A primary intake has one end connected to a reservoir of liquid and the other end connected to the housing concentrically about the secondary line. As liquid flows through the primary intake into the pump chamber and out the outlet, the Coanda effect results in a low pressure area in the pump chamber. The liquid in the secondary line is induced to fill the low pressure area. By shaping and directing the primary intake and the secondary intake within the pump chamber a more efficient pump is produced.

  • Patent number: 4417414
Abstract: Fishing line release mechanism for a downrigger or the like in which there are two claims for holding the fishing line and a cam. Each clip is separately tensioned, preferably adjustable. The clip engaging the upper fishing line segment is pivotally and eccentrically connected to the cam while the clip for the outward segment of the fishing line is fixedly connected to the center of the cam. The line is guided by grooves from the upper to the lower clip. Release of either clip causes the other clip to release, thus causing the entire fishing line to drop free from the mechanism.
