    Abstract: A baffle for use in a firearm sound suppressor is provided. The baffle defines a central bore extending from a first face of the baffle to a second face and sized to allow a projectile fired from a firearm to freely pass along a longitudinal axis of the baffle. A plurality of grooves are defined in the first face and a plurality of channels are defined in the second face. Each groove begins adjacent to or near the peripheral wall and extends from the first face towards the second face and the central bore along a groove axis and each channel begins adjacent to or near the peripheral wall and extends s from the second face towards the first face and the central bore along a channel axis. Each groove of the first face can be substantially aligned with a channel of the second face. The baffle can be one of a plurality of baffles in a baffle stack.
