  • Patent number: 11924766
Abstract: Methods, systems, and devices for wireless communications are described. A method for wireless communication at a user equipment (UE) may include: receiving a multicast bandwidth part configuration for multicast communications between a base station and the UE, where the multicast bandwidth part configuration includes a maximum number of multiple-input, multiple-output layers to be used for the multicast communications; establishing a multicast link with the base station for multicast communications; determining to use a reduced number of antennas for multicast reception than the number of antennas used for unicast reception, or determining that the UE is able to decode the multicast communications prior to a remaining portion of the multicast communications; and receiving the multicast communications via the reduced number of antennas, or reducing the radio frequency power prior to completion of a number of repetitions or retransmissions of the multicast communications.

  • Patent number: 11917618
Abstract: Various aspects of the present disclosure generally relate to wireless communication. In some aspects, a mobile station may receive an indication of a first set of resources for feedback and an indication of a second set of resources for feedback, where the second set of resources are associated with a smaller quantity of cyclic shifts than the first set of resources. Accordingly, the mobile station may transmit feedback on either the first set of resources or the second set of resources based at least in part on a distance associated with the feedback. As an alternative, the mobile station may compute a timing advance associated with transmission of feedback. Accordingly, the mobile station may feedback that is shifted in time according to the timing advance. Numerous other aspects are described.

  • Publication number: 20230095133
Abstract: An affordable, reusable or one-time usage cup which enables effective and efficient collecting and removing of ejected aerosols/droplets from the mouths and/or nasal passages of dental patients but with enough room to still perform any dental procedure. The cup is connected to a vacuum source. The design of the cup is generally funnel-like and includes a cover which catches large debris ejected from the dental patient. The cup may include a variable height rim surrounding the input opening and significantly removes any aerosols/debris ejected from the patient thereby lowering the exposure of the dental professional to airborne and surface contaminants. The cup cover, occluding the main cup opening, includes holes through which any aerosols/droplets pass.

  • Publication number: 20230100730
Abstract: Certain aspects involve evaluating modeling algorithms whose outputs can impact machine-implemented operating environments. For instance, a computing system generates, from a comparison of a set of estimated attribute values of an attribute to a set of validation attribute values of the attribute, a discretized evaluation dataset with data values in multiple categories. The computing system computes, for a modeling algorithm used to generate the estimated attribute values, an evaluation metric. The computing system provides a host computing system with access to the evaluation metric, one or more modeling outputs generated with the modeling algorithm, or both. Providing one or more of these outputs to the host computing system can facilitate modifying one or more machine-implemented operations.

  • Patent number: 11398299
Abstract: A system for predicting and summarizing medical events from electronic health records includes a computer memory storing aggregated electronic health records from a multitude of patients of diverse age, health conditions, and demographics including medications, laboratory values, diagnoses, vital signs, and medical notes. The aggregated electronic health records are converted into a single standardized data structure format and ordered arrangement per patient, e.g., into a chronological order. A computer (or computer system) executes one or more deep learning models trained on the aggregated health records to predict one or more future clinical events and summarize pertinent past medical events related to the predicted events on an input electronic health record of a patient having the standardized data structure format and ordered into a chronological order.
