  • Patent number: 11947167
Abstract: Fiber optic terminals, tools and methods for adjusting a split ratio of a fiber optic terminal are disclosed. In one embodiment, a tool for adjusting a split ratio of a fiber optic terminal includes an axle for insertion into a port of the fiber optic terminal, and a terminal engagement body disposed about the axle. The terminal engagement body includes a terminal engagement feature for engaging an alignment feature within the fiber optic terminal, wherein the axle is free to rotate with respect to the terminal engagement body, and a set-point indicator. The tool further includes an end piece coupled to the axle, and a plurality of set-point markers, wherein rotation of the end piece causes rotation of the axle and an alignment between one set-point marker of the plurality of set-point markers with the set-point indicator indicates the split ratio of the fiber optic terminal.

  • Patent number: 6112063
Abstract: An autoset or auto-store function for a radio receiver selects stations for storing in association with respective presets according to the stored station format of the normal presets which have been manually set by the radio user for their home area. When activating the autoset feature when traveling out-of-town, the invention ensures consistent station formats at the presets according to the scheme adopted by the user. For any presets that have no station content code stored for them or for which no matching broadcast can be found during the autoset scan, a fill is conducted to associate listenable broadcasts with these remaining presets.

  • Patent number: 4331338
Abstract: A flexible, fluid-tight seal assembly for sealing the gap between a duct and a wall where the duct passes through an opening in the wall. The seal assembly includes an annular housing affixed to and centered on the opening in the wall. The housing includes a circular recess opening inwardly toward the duct. Contained in the recess is a carrier ring supporting a set of three O-rings set into cooperable O-ring grooves in the carrier ring. One O-ring groove opens inwardly toward the duct such that the associated O-ring snugly encircles the duct so as to provide a seal between the duct and the carrier ring. The other two O-rings are set into grooves which face in opposite directions such that the two O-rings snugly abut the walls of the recess to provide a seal between the carrier ring and the housing. The carrier ring is movable laterally in the recess of the housing so as to permit lateral movement of the duct with respect to the wall.
