  • Publication number: 20220216811
Abstract: An energy harvesting system having at least two piezoelectric units and a central control unit. Each of the piezoelectric units has a piezoelectric layer and an integrated electronics unit, which contacts the piezoelectric layer. The piezoelectric layers are arranged at an angle to one another. Electrical components used to smooth the voltage generated in a piezoelectric layer are built into the integrated electronics unit. The integrated electronics unit contacts the central control unit, which in turn includes a control module and is designed to collect electrical energy from the piezoelectric units. The control module is designed to minimize or to eliminate a reciprocal electrical damping of the piezoelectric units.
