  • Patent number: 11920560
Abstract: A transmission gearing includes a sun gear, a planetary unit and a high speed unit. The sun gear is mounted on a slowly rotating gear shaft. The planetary unit includes a planetary toothed gear wheel and a planetary shaft gear wheel, which are both mounted on a planetary shaft. The planetary shaft gear wheel has a diameter that is larger than that of the planetary toothed gear wheel and smaller than that of the sun gear. The planetary toothed gear wheel engages the sun gear. The high speed unit includes a quickly rotating gear shaft on which a high speed shaft gear is mounted. The high speed shaft gear has a diameter that is smaller than that of the planetary shaft gear wheel. A drive belt engages both the planetary shaft gear wheel and the high speed shaft gear. The slowly rotating gear shaft is parallel to the planetary shaft.

  • Publication number: 20220096968
Abstract: The invention relates to a filter system for treating contaminated liquids, having a filter container (11) that is equipped with a filter bed (12) comprising filter granulate as the filter material, a retaining element (13) being provided for the filter material via the filter bed. In order to allow the retaining element (13) to be lightly cleaned after backwashing and prevent filter material from being lost during the backwash, the retaining element (13) has a substantially vertically arranged filter screen (14) which is arranged at least partly outside of the filter container (11) and encloses a cavity, and liquid can flow outwards from the inside during the backwash. The cavity is open at the bottom such that retained filter material falls back into the filter bed (12). Because the flow within the filter bed (14) is oriented downwards, at least one turbine blade (18) can be provided, and a channel (16) can provided from the filter container (11) to the head space (17) of the filter screen (14).

  • Publication number: 20200171617
Abstract: The present invention relates to a method and a tool for removing a partial region of a coating from a substrate, in which the partial region to be removed is removed by a machining process in such a way that an undercutting of the partial region of the coating that is to be removed takes place. For the undercutting of the partial region of the coating that is to be removed, at least one machining tool that is rotating relative to the substrate about an axis of rotation is moved relative to the substrate along a direction of advancement that runs parallel to a surface having the coating, wherein a layer of the substrate that is directly adjacent to the coating is also removed together with the coating. Considered in the direction of advancement, the tool thereby penetrates deeper into the substrate than into the coating to be removed.

  • Patent number: 10470965
Abstract: The invention relates to an apparatus and method for unloading a user's body weight during a physical activity of said user, particularly for gait training of said user, comprising: a plurality of ropes, wherein each rope extends from an associated drive unit, is deflected by a passively displaceable deflection device, e.g. a device that is displaceable by means of the forces in the deflected ropes, and then runs to a first free end of the respective rope, and a node being coupled to said first free ends and being designed to be coupled to said user, wherein the drive units are designed to retract and release the respective rope so as to adjust a current rope force along the respective rope, which current rope forces add up to a current resulting force exerted on said user via said node in order to unload the user upon said physical activity.

  • Patent number: 9926575
Abstract: The invention relates to a bioreactor for methanizing biomass, a biogas plant having a plurality of such bioreactors, and a method for operating such a bioreactor. Because the elongated reactor vessel includes both a loading gate and an unloading gate that are arranged at opposite ends of the elongated reactor vessel, it is possible to remove consumed biomass, which is harmless in terms of epidemiologic hygiene and plant hygiene due to thermophilic process control during the fermentation, from the reactor vessel through the unloading gate and to transfer this consumed biomass directly to the composting process. The bioreactor thus has a “clean” unloading gate and an “unclean” loading gate.

  • Patent number: 9446307
Abstract: A board apparatus for balance exercises and balance games having a platform that is tiltable on a base part, freely rotatable around a vertical axis, and mounted movably along the vertical axis. A restoring part generates restoring forces that counteract motions of the platform and can be modified by the user. The restoring part includes four elastomer springs that are arranged at a distance from the center of the base part. The elastomer springs can be offset inward or outward with respect to the center of the base part, enabling accurate adaptation of the restoring forces. When twisting the platform around the vertical axis, the restoring part always returns the support part into one of two initial positions that are located 180 degree opposite to one another.

  • Publication number: 20150147745
Abstract: A biogas system operates according to the principle of dry fermentation with multiple biogas fermenters that are run in batch mode. One of the biogas fermenters has just been loaded with fresh biomass and the other biogas fermenters are in the state of producing biogas with a higher concentration of methane. The biogas fermenter just loaded with fresh biomass is closed and connected to the other biogas fermenters that are already producing biogas. In addition, there is a return of the biogas mixture from the freshly loaded biogas fermenter to at least one of the other biogas fermenters producing biogas. After expiration of a defined time duration, the return of the biogas mixture from the freshly loaded biogas fermenter is stopped. The defined time duration is determined based on the concentration of methane in the mixture of biogas generated in all of the biogas fermenters.

  • Patent number: 8759083
Abstract: A bioreactor having improved gas yield is described, wherein the necessary residence time of the biomass in the digestion tank is reduced. During the fermentation of dry, i.e. non-pumpable biomass, percolating juices, so-called percolate, is generated as a result of the moisture contained in the biomass, which percolate is withdrawn via a drainage system and, if necessary, recirculated from the top onto the biomass to be fermented. It has now been found that the biomass yield is significantly increased—in the region of between 10% and 40%—when the resultant percolate is not immediately withdrawn by way of the drainage system, but is accumulated in the digestion tank up to a specific level. This is achieved by a technical device wherein the digestion tank is liquid-tight, i.e. also the flap for loading and unloading the digestion tank must be liquid-tight and also be designed in a correspondingly solid manner in order to withstand the resultant liquid pressure.

  • Patent number: 8613210
Abstract: A method and apparatus for monitoring the wear of manual pliers. The principles focus on manual pliers, in which press elements can be pressed onto a workpiece and the degree of pressing that can be achieved by actuating the manual pliers can be adjusted with a presetting device. A reference position of the presetting device is measured prior to a first use of the manual pliers, this measurement involving actuating the manual pliers. By an adjustment of the presetting device, the press elements are brought into a position with a reference degree of pressing. Next, after use, the wear position of the presetting device is measured in the same manner, to bring the press elements into a position with the degree of pressing. A message is output when the degree of the wear position deviates from the degree of the reference position by more than the degree of wear permissible.
