  • Patent number: 9508217
Abstract: A system for conducting gaming includes at least one gaming machine communicating with an award server. Optionally, the gaming machine communicates with the award server via a network server. A game is conducted at the gaming machine. A determination is made whether to issue an award from the award server. In an optional embodiment, the determination is random; in another optional embodiment, the determination is based on the outcome of the game. The award is issued from the award server, at least in part, based on data communicated between the gaming machine and the award server.

  • Publication number: 20160161282
Abstract: The present general inventive concept relates to methods and systems to select and display information on an avionics display screen. The systems and methods allow for the selection and display of information using knobs to highlight and select the desired information for display, eliminating the need for a cursor function. The systems and methods also provide for multiple pages and/or multiple windows or “tiles” within these pages and/or windows simultaneously on a single screen of a display, with each window, page, and/or tile being fully controlled independently when selected. The present general inventive concept also relates to systems and methods to provide multiple cues on an electronic display system altitude tape to a pilot in advance and impending approach to a predefined altitude. The present general inventive concept also relates to systems and methods to employ variable resolution topographical data based on display range for an avionics navigation display.

  • Patent number: 9113858
Abstract: Devices and systems are described for treating intraluminal locations such as in a patient's lung. The device has an elongated shaft with an inner lumen, preferably defined by an inner tubular member, formed of heat resistant polymeric materials such as polyimide. The device also has an outer surface formed of heat resistant material. High temperature vapor is directed through the inner lumen into the intraluminal location to treat tissue at and distal to the location. An enlarged or enlargeable member, such as a balloon, is provided on a distal portion of the shaft to prevent proximal flow of the high temperature vapor upon discharge from the device.

  • Patent number: 9037843
Abstract: Methods, computer-readable media, and systems are provided for managing a target computing device. One method for managing the target computing device includes loading a service operating system into non-persistent memory of the target computing device having a persistent memory that is initially devoid of a functional operating system. The service operating system includes an embedded global shell agent. The global shell agent is executed thereby configuring the target computing device for remote management within an interactive command shell function before loading an operating system into persistent memory of the target computing device. The global shell agent is operable to examine and modify filesystems on the target computing device.

  • Publication number: 20140100533
Abstract: An annular cap for covering a lumen including first and second elongate members each having inside and outside surfaces, proximal and distal end portions and two opposite longitudinal edges. The cap having an interlocking snap member positioned between and connected to the first and second elongate members along the opposite longitudinal edges, the first and second elongate members being pivotable with respect to each other about a pivot axis. The elongate members interlock over and around the lumen to provide complete enclosure of the lumen when the cap is in a closed position.
