    Abstract: A ski waxing machine (10) includes a housing (12), a pair of parallel oblong recesses, each one to receive one ski are provided in a deck wall of the housing (12). Two rows of supporting elements (18) are provided to completely close the recesses from below and to support the skis. Each row includes a multiplicity of supporting elements which individually can be displaced laterally into a rest position to open an area of the recess respectively. A longitudinally reciprocating slide includes a waxing device for applying wax to the running surfaces of the skis and tracks to individually retract the supporting elements from their supporting positions upon approach of the slide and to return the supporting elements when the slide has passed.

    Abstract: A ski waxing machine comprises a housing with an oblong opening in the upper wall. The length and the width of the opening corresponds to the length and the width of a pair of skis arranged side by side. A plurality of supporting elements are arranged within the housing and project into the opening. The skis secured on the feet of a skier are supported by the supporting elements. A guide block can be reciprocated within the housing carrying waxing devices, which project upwards into the opening. The supporting elements can be temporarily removed out of the moving path of the guide block and waxing devices upon approach thereof and are automatically reset into the supporting position after the guide block has passed.

    Abstract: A cleaning system particularly intended for use on automobile head lamps or tail lamps which system comprises a cylindrical transparent shield which is movably mounted about or in front of the head lamp and a plastic film which can be drawn off from a supply roller and which is guided around and supported by the transparent shield and connected to a winding roller. The shield and the plastic film are continuously or intermittently moved with the same surface speed avoiding any sliding friction between the shield and the film in the contacting area of which, in order to replace a dirty section of the film in the contacting area by an adjacent clean section.
