  • Publication number: 20180318823
Abstract: A laboratory cabinet, for example a cold room, heating cabinet, drying oven or incubator, with a housing having at least one outer door with an outer door closure, which has at least one inner chamber, which is closable by an inner door with an inner door closure, wherein the inner door closure is a mechanical closure, that the laboratory cabinet with the outer door closed has actuatable first means for releasing the inner door closure of the inner door, which are electrically actuatable, and that the laboratory cabinet has second means which are designed such that upon opening the outer door, the inner door also opens.

  • Patent number: 5601143
Abstract: A laboratory refrigerator, in particular a refrigerated incubator, in which an inner basin surrounding the useful storage volume is surrounded by an outer basin. The air in the useful storage volume is circulated via a chamber formed between the inner basin and the outer basin and re-enters the useful storage volume via apertures in the side walls of the inner basin. Heating elements are provided in the chamber for controlling the temperature of the circulating air and labyrinthine plate evaporators are provided on the outside of the side walls of the outer basin.

  • Patent number: 5405194
Abstract: A removable shelf for a vacuum-drying cabinet is machanically expandable so that it comes into thermal contact under pressure over a large area with the heated walls of the cabinet interior. The shelf can be inserted into a supporting framework which can be freely positioned in the cabinet interior and can be removed for cleaning. A baffle plate on the supporting framework protects the material to be dried from strong air currents when the cabinet interior is evacuated.

  • Patent number: 5309981
Abstract: A heating cabinet includes a fan (24) by means of which air is drawn out of the inner housing into an air chamber (22). From the air chamber (22) the air is directed through a preheating chamber (28) of U-shaped cross-section, comprising a heating element (34), enclosing the inner housing, and is directed back into the usable space through apertures (36) in the side walls (16) of the inner housing. Air guidance plates (38) are attached externally on the side walls (16) which compel the air to flow along the entire length of the heating element (34) before it can pass out through the apertures (36). In this manner, temperature differences between the air passing through the different apertures (36) are avoided and localized temperature variations in the usable space are minimized.
