Abstract: Sensors or a sensing system are employed in a given space to detect position, velocity and/or acceleration of one or more bodies and/or one or more portions of one or more bodies. The sensing is employed, in whole or in part, remotely from the body or bodies being sensed. The results of sensing are employed to determine forces applied to the body or bodies. A determination is made as to whether the determined forces are beyond a threshold level that is likely to result in damage or functional status change to the body or bodies.
