The computer system includes a computer server configured to communicate across a computer network with a plurality of mobile devices, where each mobile device is pre-configured for one of a plurality of different facilities, and a database configured to store facility data about the facilities identifying sets of equipment within each facility that a user is required to perform a maintenance check on, and parameter data associated with the equipment that is set by a user through a given one of the mobile devices during the maintenance check. The computer server enables the mobile devices to read data from the database or insert new data into the database in response to requests received from the mobile devices.
