Abstract: A portable wheeled basketball stand has a base which carries at least one support system and a beam for attachment of a backboard and ring. The beam, and thereby the stand, is capable of being moved between a lower, storage, position and a higher, playing position. Power storage springs act between a point connected to the base and a point connected to the at least one support system, and accumulate power when the stand is brought into its storage position. The power is relieved and the accumulated energy in the springs is freed when the stand is brought into its playing position. The base carries rods which are driven downwardly from the base by energy stored in the power storage springs when the beam is brought into its playing position.

Abstract: A game net post comprising an inner pipe adapted to be placed in substantially vertical position into a sleeve or pot arranged in the ground or floor and an outer pipe, having an internal cross sectional dimension greater than the external cross sectional dimension of said inner pipe, which is slidable over at least part of said inner pipe, said outer pipe being provided with upper and lower means for attaching a game net.Preferably the outer pipe at its top is provided with an at least diametrical suspension means from which suspends a rod extending substantially along the pipe axis, there being provided around said rod, between stop means arranged on the rod and said rod guiding means, resilient means in permanently tensioned state.

Abstract: A game net post, particularly volleyball post and storing system therefor, comprising an outer sleeve adapted to be embedded in substantially and provided with support means and locating means, an inner sleeve provided at the outside thereof with means adapted to be supported by said support means, an outer pipe adapted to be embedded in the ground below said outer sleeve, an inner pipe provided with means allowing it to be suspended from the inner sleeve, a game net post telescopingly arranged within the inner sleeve and at least one negator spring device being attached to the lower end of the game net post and to the inner sleeve.Preferably two negator spring devices are provided.A horizontal bar, particularly a high bar post and a storing system therefor have a similar structure as the game net post and storing system.
