Abstract: This invention relates to a multi-purpose universal fit roof-rain gutter protection system which is useful in keeping debris out of roof-rain gutters and drain spouts. The roof-rain gutter shield comprises an elongated resilient weather-proof planar sheet which has a linear gutter lip engaging inverted "L" surface along one of its elongated sides and on the opposite elongated side, has a plurality of fingers extending in series perpendicularly from the edge of the sheet. The sheet has in the central area a plurality of elongated openings arranged in rows and extending laterally along the sheet relative to the length of the sheet. The sheet may also have a series of auxiliary openings between the inverted "L" surface and the central area openings.
