    Abstract: A composition and method for treating skin which comprises applying an effective amount of polyvalent equine immune whole serum or IgG fraction, in a cosmetically acceptable carrier, to the skin. The polyvalent equine immune whole serum is obtained from horses which have been immunized with a solution containing pig tissue and the IgG fraction is isolated by known chromatographic techniques.
