    Abstract: A copier system with an improved developer consumption in which a document is forwarded and reversed over an exposure slit for projecting multiple images onto a re-usable photoconductive surface moving in the same direction. The surface is charged then exposed, and developed, and then transferred onto copy sheet before repeating the cycle. During document reversal the charging of the surface is eliminated to prevent images being formed and developed.
