  • Patent number: 9032710
Abstract: A diesel dosing module utilizes a diesel fuel shut-off valve, a diesel fuel dosing valve to provide dosing fuel to the inlet of a diesel oxidation catalyst and an air purge valve to purge fuel from a dosing line attached to the diesel dosing module and from a nozzle attached to a distal end of the dosing line. The valves are attached to a housing manifold which is remotely positionable from the nozzle and the high heat areas of the vehicle.

  • Patent number: 7460654
Abstract: An enterprise system includes multiple disparate information systems, such as voice and data systems. An integration server provides for the interaction of information between these systems through the use of enterprise messages and processing rules. Enterprise messages allow for the association of information from disparate information systems, while the processing rules allow for automated interaction between users and information in the disparate information systems.

  • Publication number: 20080103720
Abstract: The present invention provides a managed or “hosted” service offering that facilitates timely and accurate communication of clinical information, such as critical test results, within a health care environment. The inventive system enables pathologists, laboratory technicians, and laboratory staff to communicate to ordering physicians clinical information (such as lab results) in real-time via a traceable and verifiable communication system. According to the invention, a recipient of the clinical test results is prompted to verify the test results that he or she has just heard to confirm receipt of such results, as well as confirmation that the information provided was properly understood. The read back function ensures that the actual communication of complete clinical information (such as critical tests results) occurs in a seamless, real-time manner.

  • Patent number: 6076705
Abstract: A heated follower plate for use with drum end loaders has a number of concentric downwardly facing ribs which have heating elements located in the lower ends thereof. A plurality of radial passages are provided which alternate between those which extend fully from the circumference of the plate to the center with those which extend only partially inwardly. The bottom surface formed by the ribs is actually slightly convex in shape.

  • Patent number: 4186368
Abstract: An improved resistance-type sensor for an electrical temperature probe includes a thin-film platinum resistor deposited on an oxidized silicon chip. The chip is eutectically bonded to the planar reverse side of a beryllium oxide tip-piece having a hemispherical face adapted for contacting the surface of an object being measured. The tip-piece is set in a thermal insulating plastic mount, spaced from a pair of low resistance electrical leads held by the mount. Very fine wires bonded between the leads and platinum resistor form high thermal impedance electrical connections to the temperature-sensing element.
