Abstract: The present invention relates to synthetic polypeptide compounds which bind to a class A G-protein-coupled receptor, the Apelin receptor. These compounds may act as apelin receptor antagonists. These compounds and compositions comprising them may be useful in the treatment of diseases, such as cancer.

Abstract: A system and method for implementation of an improved weld pattern for the retention of straps to a face mask, configured to maintain maximum strength of the strap(s) without the use of glue or complete encapsulation via fabric welds. Proximal welds are positioned above and below ends of the straps without contacting the strap itself. The proximal welds are horizontal welds along the primary axis of the straps. The proximal welds are configured to reinforce primary vertical welds disposed along the very ends of the straps. A strip of weldable material is disposed atop the ends of the straps to facilitate the implementation of the horizontal and vertical welds.

Abstract: The invention relates to a debris retaining cover for retaining debris in the region of an undercarriage of a track-type vehicle. The cover includes a barrier member which provides a barrier to restrict egress of debris from the undercarriage of the vehicle and an attachment mechanism which is arranged to secure the barrier member across an undercarriage of the vehicle. A track-type vehicle provided with the debris retaining cover is also disclosed.

These measures allow on the one hand that sufficiently accurate data are provided for herd management while on the other hand the investment cost for a milking installation are reduced.
