  • Publication number: 20240410926
Abstract: A monitoring device for a high-voltage onboard electrical system of an electrically operable vehicle. The high-voltage onboard electrical system includes a high-voltage energy storage device that is couplable to an electrically positive and an electrically negative charge line. The electrically positive charge line is couplable to a positive electric voltage of a charging device via a charging connection to charge the high-voltage energy storage device and the electrically negative charge line is couplable to a negative electric voltage of the charging device to charge the high voltage energy storage device. The monitoring device has a control unit with a current sensor which is configured to determine the sum of the electric currents of the positive and the negative charge lines. The control unit is configured to separate the positive and the negative charge lines from the high-voltage onboard electrical system upon detecting a fault.

  • Publication number: 20240361051
Abstract: A sorption heat pump having an evaporator containing a working fluid to evaporate the fluid to produce a gas, a sorber containing a sorption material to sorb the gas during a sorption phase, a vapor pathway connecting the evaporator and sorber, and a thermal control unit controlling the rate of vapor flow between the evaporator and sorber through the pathway, and being selectively operable to permit, stop and restart the flow of gas through the pathway. The pump may be used with a compartment storing temperature sensitive material. The evaporator may be positioned inside and the sorber outside the compartment, or the sorber may be positioned inside and the evaporator outside the compartment. The pump may be used in an apparatus including both cool and warm compartments, with an insulation layer in each. • Patent number: 9914155
Abstract: A method is provided for operating a dishwasher (1) in the form of a batch dishwasher, which has a treatment chamber (2) for accommodating washware to be cleaned. Provision is made, during an adsorption phase, for air to be conducted out of the treatment chamber (2) through a sorption unit (41), which contains a reversibly dehydratable dry material, in such a way that the dry material absorbs moisture from the air stream, wherein the air is then returned to the treatment chamber (2). Provision is further made, during a desorption phase, for the dry material of the sorption unit (41) to be heated in such a way that moisture is desorbed from the dry material as steam. During the desorption phase, the sorption unit (41) is subjected to forced ventilation only to such an extent that recondensation of desorbed steam in the sorption unit (41) itself is effectively prevented.
