  • Publication number: 20250019713
Abstract: A maize plant or maize plant part, and methods of making and using the same, are provided herein, wherein the maize plant or maize plant part comprises a mutant allele of an endogenous brachytic 2 (Z?r2) gene, a mutant allele of an endogenous GA20 oxidase or GA3 oxidase gene, or a transgene encoding a non-coding RNA molecule that targets an endogenous GA oxidase gene for suppression, and/or a mutant allele of an endogenous brown midrib 3 (bin3) gene. The maize plants or maize plant parts may be homozygous or heterozygous for the transgene or the mutant alleles. Additionally, the maize plant or maize plant part may be part of a silage product, where the harvest product is formed by harvesting an above-ground biomass of a population of the maize plants or a population of intercropped silage plants including such maize plants and making a silage product from the above-ground biomass.

  • Patent number: 9932123
Abstract: A composite structure forming a load bearing composite shell for a helicopter, with a shell which defines the exterior of a fuselage and includes a central fuselage section and tail boom, a fuselage which is adapted house an engine or drive train, a layered composite crashworthy seat and support structure and a fastening and a method of fastening by providing an adhesive between two layers which is allowed to flow through opposing holes in the layers to provide a chemical and mechanical attachment between the layers.

  • Patent number: 8024164
Abstract: A system may include a memory to store a graphical block diagram model including a graphical block, the graphical block being associated with a lookup table and one or more inputs for receiving input data. The system may further include one or more processors to update data stored in the lookup table based on the received input data, where data stored in the lookup table includes data for simulating an embedded control system.

  • Patent number: 7930153
Abstract: A graphical block that defines the functionality of a lookup table and can be used in a block diagram model to capture time-varying characteristics of a system's behavior in the lookup table is presented. The block uses input and output data of the system to dynamically create and update the contents of the underlying lookup table over time. More specifically, the block utilizes an adaptation process that uses the system (or plant) output data to recompute the table values. The adaptation process is implemented as a statistical and signal processing algorithm, such as Recursive Sample Means (RSM), Least Mean Squares (LMS) and Recursive Least-Squares (RLS). The adaptation can be cell-based or point based.
