Abstract: Hotel facility, system and method in which the time between arrival of a guest at the facility and entry of the guest into the hotel room is optimized by the following time-saving measures: reading electronically readable key codes with an access control module at the entrance of the hotel room unit; a verification process without requiring intervention by any hotel staff; and hotel room units with a garage door as main entrance, a vehicle parking space immediately behind the garage door as part of the hotel room unit and immediate access of the room space from the vehicle parking space.
