  • Patent number: 11964646
Abstract: A foot brake valve (2?) of a pneumatic brake system in a motor vehicle has an installation plate (4?), on which a brake pedal (14) is pivotably mounted and to which a housing (18?) of a control unit (16, 26) is fastened. A spring-loaded plunger piston (36) in actuating contact with the brake pedal (14) is guided axially movably in an annular collar (50) projecting upward out of the installation plate (4?). For fastening the housing (18?) of the control unit (16, 26) to the installation plate (4?), the housing (18?) has an intermediate flange (48) which is screw-connected to the main part of the housing (18?) and has the annular collar (50). The intermediate flange (48) is coaxially rotatably about a vertical central axis (32), and is connectable in non-positively locking fashion to the installation plate (4?) via a releasable clamping connection (62).

  • Publication number: 20080209057
Abstract: Briefly, the present invention provides a system and methods for filtering internet content. The system has an internet connection filter device that filters information being transmitted on the connection between one or more computers and the internet. The device stores rules on permissible and impermissible categories of content in local memory. The device detects and holds back DNS and ‘get’ requests from the one or more computers to the internet. The device requests the categories of content associated with the URL's in the DNS and ‘get’ requests from and internet server. The device applies the locally stored rules to the DNS and ‘get’ requests based on the categories of content received from the internet server.

  • Publication number: 20060182103
Abstract: A network routing system is provided that may establish a communication session between a local device and a remote destination. To establish a communication session, the local device generates a message directed to the remote destination. A traffic processor intercepts the message and redirects the message to a predefined network server in a secure fashion. The network server receives the message, and extracts the address for the remote destination, as well as message data. The network server has a pool of available virtual address that are registered with the network server. The network server associates a virtual source address with the real address of the local device or traffic processor, and opens a communication session. The virtual address is set as the source address for the message, and the message is sent to the remote destination. Since the source address is virtual, the real address for the local device or traffic processor are not sent to the remote location.

  • Patent number: 6675015
Abstract: Apparatus, and an associated method, for facilitating handover of communication in a BLUEPAC (Bluetooth public access) or other radio communication system. Address and timing information associated with potential target base stations is collected and broadcast to mobile devices during operation of the radio communication system. The information is utilized by the mobile device during handover procedures to facilitate efficient handover of communications to a selected target base. In a further implementation, a base station is provided with separate, dedicated transmitters in which a first set of dedicated transmitters is dedicated for setup operations with a mobile device during handover operation and another set of dedicated transmitters is dedicated for regular data communications.
