  • Publication number: 20250043982
Abstract: A system for enabling scheduled ventilation of an area of interest (AOI) is disclosed. The system comprises a controller that is configured to receive first historical data and first real-time data associated with one or more of temperature, humidity, air quality, and occupancy within the AOI. The controller is further configured to receive second historical data and second real-time data associated with one or more of temperature, humidity, air quality, and weather attributes outside of the AOI. The controller accordingly determines a scheduled time and duration for ventilation of the AOI based on the received first and second historical data and the received first and second real-time data.

  • Publication number: 20240110714
Abstract: A ventilator having a functionality to defrost a ventilator core includes a two sets of ports, one set used for coupling of the ventilator with ducting and other used for redirecting indoor air flowing along a first flowpath through the recovery core to a second flow path normally used for outdoor air. A re-circulator is removably fixed between an inlet for outdoor air and an outlet for indoor air of the set of ports not coupled to the ducting. A pair of dampers, operated by a single motor, allow the ventilator to be operated in a mode that enables redirection of the indoor air from the first flowpath to the second flowpath, simultaneously blocking inflow of the outdoor air.

  • Publication number: 20240102675
Abstract: A ventilator having a bypass ventilator core/blank core configured removably in a first chamber of a housing of the ventilator. Housing includes a first flowpath between a first inlet and a first outlet, and a second flowpath between a second inlet to a second outlet. The two flowpaths extend through the first chamber. The blank core includes at least one first passageway and at least one second passageway that are in fluid communication with the first flowpath and the second flowpath respectively, thereby allowing a first fluid to flow from the first inlet to the first outlet and a second fluid from the second inlet to the second outlet. Replacement of the blank core by one or more recovery cores enables conversion of the ventilator to a recovery ventilator.
