  • Publication number: 20170184352
Abstract: Disclosed herein is a radiator comprising a heat exchanger that includes a plurality of fluid conduits for carrying a thermal fluid. Each fluid conduit extends along a longitudinal axis between a first end and a second end. At least some of the fluid conduits are laterally offset from each other. The radiator also comprises a direct-flow manifold and, a reverse-flow manifold. The direct flow manifold is for conveying the thermal fluid along a first flow direction between the first ends of the fluid conduits and a first radiator line. The reverse-flow manifold is for conveying the thermal fluid along a second flow direction between the second ends of the fluid conduits and an elbow passageway, and along a third flow direction between the elbow passageway and a second radiator line. The third flow direction is opposite to the second flow direction.

  • Patent number: 7878361
Abstract: In a locking device for the fixation of a lid (1) on an opening (8) of a pressure container with at least two locking segments (5) displaceable at right angles to the axis of the opening 98), which segments (5) bear protrusions (6) and groove-like recesses along their circumference, which in the locked position cooperate with recesses (7) and protrusions along the brim of the opening (8), the displacement actuator (4) of the segments (5) is linked to the segments (5) and to at least one point of application that is on the lid (1) or on a member (3) connected to the lid (1). The segments (5) are arranged in the direction of the circumference of the lid (1) and are pivotably supported on the lid (1) by a swivel arm (16), separate from the displacement actuator (4), being interposed.

  • Patent number: 4917887
Abstract: This invention relates to new hybrid interferons consisting of part of an .alpha.-interferon and part of an omega interferon, the N-terminal Met or N-formyl-Met derivatives thereof and, if the peptide sequence of the hybrid interferon contains a glycosylation site, the N-glycosylated derivatives thereof, their use as pharmaceutical compositions and as intermediate products for immunizing experimental animals and processes for producing them, new monoclonal antibodies and their use in purifying .alpha. and omega-interferons, the hybrid cell lines which secrete them and processes for preparing them,a new process for purifying .alpha. and omega-interferons by means of a new antibody affinity column containing the above-mentioned new monoclonal antibodies, and processes for the preparation thereof, new hybrid plasmids for improving the expression of omega-interferons and new intermediate plasmids for preparing the new plasmids and processes for the preparation thereof.

  • Patent number: 4021551
Abstract: Compounds of the formula ##STR1## wherein R.sub.1 is hydrogen or methyl,R.sub.2 and R.sub.3, together with each other and the nitrogen atom to which they are attached, form a saturated or unsaturated heterocyclic ring system which may optionally contain one or more additional heteroatoms, andA is lower alkylene or aryl-lower alkylene, and nontoxic, pharmacologically acceptable acid addition salts thereof; the compounds as well as their salts are useful as inducers of the formation of interferon.
