Patent number: 7988001Abstract: A process for producing a container comprising an outer container, an inner bag disposed therein and a pressure equalisation opening disposed in the outer container, and a container produced according to this process, is described, wherein a pre-moulding, comprising two coaxial tubes, is first produced by co-extrusion with the help of a blow mould and with an outwardly-projecting base seam being formed. The process forms a pressure equalisation opening in the outer container without endangering the integrity of the container, wherein a lower wastage rate and higher productivity are achieved. To do this, the base seam is partially cut off and a force which acts in the direction of the seam is introduced into the pre-moulding, which has a temperature of 40 degrees C. to 70 degrees C., which force breaks open and plastically deforms the base seam so that a pressure equalisation opening is formed in the base area.Type: GrantFiled: July 17, 2007Date of Patent: August 2, 2011Assignee: Boehringer Ingelheim Pharma GmbH & Co. KGInventors: Torsten Kuehn, Burkhard Peter Metzger

Publication number: 20100292728Abstract: A grab for a surgical instrument has an elongated tube having a rigid outer part and a rigid inner part interconnected by a pivot pin extending along an axis transverse to the parts. A pair of jaws are pivotal on an outer end of the outer part between open and closed positions. An elongated actuating rod has a rigid outer part in the outer tube part and connected to the jaws, a rigid inner part in the inner tube part, and a flexible center part longitudinally interconnecting the rod inner and outer parts and passing through or around the pivot pin. The pivot pin is formed on the pivot axis with a throughgoing slot and the flexible part of the rod extends through the slot.Type: ApplicationFiled: May 13, 2010Publication date: November 18, 2010Inventor: Peter METZGER

Publication number: 20100275917Abstract: The present invention relates to a method, a device, and a control program for the fluid-tight sealing of capsules containing medicaments, wherein the capsules consist of at least one capsule body and a capsule cap which are set one into the other telescopically and provided with a tight band in the abutment region on the exterior side of the capsule, wherein the capsule components are filled with gas which has a changed temperature and/or a changed pressure in relation to the environment, and wherein a reduction of the difference in pressure in the capsule occurs via gaps between capsule body and capsule cap after the capsule components have been placed one inside the other. The capsules produced via the method according to the invention are disposable capsules and preferably contain a single dose of an orally administered pharmaceutical formulation in the form of a powder or a liquid.Type: ApplicationFiled: July 17, 2008Publication date: November 4, 2010Applicant: BOEHRINGER INGELHEIM INTERNATIONAL GMBHInventors: Rolf Kuhn, Burkhard Peter Metzger, Torsten Kuehn, Heinrich Kladders, Joern-Eric Schulz

Patent number: 7451884Abstract: A process for the production of a container (1) comprising an outer container (2), an inner bag (3) disposed therein and a pressure equalisation opening (10) disposed in the outer container (2), and also a container (1) produced according to this process, is described, wherein firstly a pre-moulding, comprising two coaxial tubes, is first produced by co-extrusion with the help of a blow mould and with an outwardly-projecting base seam (5) being formed. The process is to form a pressure equalisation opening (10) in the outer container (2) of the container (1) without endangering the integrity of the container (1), wherein a lower wastage rate and higher productivity are to be achieved. This is attained by a process wherein the base seam (5) is partially cut off and a force which acts in the direction of the seam is introduced into the pre-moulding, which still has a temperature of 40° C. to 70° C.Type: GrantFiled: April 5, 2005Date of Patent: November 18, 2008Assignee: Boehringer Ingelheim Pharma KGInventors: Torsten Kuehn, Burkhard Peter Metzger

Patent number: 7189053Abstract: A fan arrangement comprises a fan (10) having a fan housing (30) within which is arranged a blower wheel (18) which, in operation, moves air from an intake side of the fan (10) to a delivery side. Arranged radially outside the fan housing (30) is a surrounding mounting frame (34) that serves to support the fan housing (30). A membrane (32), made of an elastic material, elastically connects the fan housing (30) and mounting frame (34) to one another and is formed with through holes or apertures (33) that, in the event of a closure of the output or delivery side of the fan arrangement (40), enable a return flow, from the delivery side to the intake side of the fan arrangement (40), of air moved by the blower wheel (18).Type: GrantFiled: July 2, 2004Date of Patent: March 13, 2007Assignee: ebm-papst St. Georgen GmbH & Co.
