  • Patent number: 10722931
Abstract: A plate stretcher includes two clamping heads that are directed at one another and can be displaced relative to one another, to apply a clamping force directed along a stretching direction, by way of a pressure element that absorbs the clamping force, and at least one transverse straightener that acts perpendicularly to the clamping force. A method for stretching a plate in a plate stretcher transversely straightens the plate during stretching of the plate.

  • Publication number: 20060260073
Abstract: A method for dyeing a web of knitted fabric containing cellulose fibers is described. In order to achieve the result of being able to continuously dye the knitted goods containing cellulose fibers in the spread-out state, using a pad, as well as dry it in-line, in a subsequent dyeing hotflue, and fix the color, the knitted fabric is first caught along the longitudinal edges in continuously transporting stentering chains, and then transverse strips of glue are applied to the longitudinal edges, reinforcing the longitudinal edge regions, adjacent to the stentering chains. The glue is dried and subsequently the web that has been released from the stentering chains is passed continuously through the dyeing pad and the dyeing hotflue, spread out, fundamentally like a woven web of fabric.

  • Patent number: 6805361
Abstract: A stabilizer arrangement for a motor vehicle has a torsion bar with two bar parts with first ends which can each be connected with a wheel suspension of a wheel axle having two wheels. The stabilizer arrangement, in addition, has a clutch with first and second clutch elements. The clutch form-lockingly connects or separates two second ends of the bar parts situated adjacent to one another. For a form-locking connection, each clutch element has at least two form closure elements. When the clutch is separated, each clutch element can be rotated relative to the other. The stabilizer arrangement also has an operating device for the separation of the clutch. In order to simplify the operating device of the clutch, the form closure elements of the first or second clutch element form engaging elements movably linked thereto. For a separation of the clutch, the engaging elements are movable independently of one another. The elements are displaceable independently of one another by the operating device.

  • Patent number: 5601648
Abstract: An apparatus for applying treating liquor to a traveling textile web having a vat containing treating liquor and a plurality of web guiding rolls submerged in the treating liquor and arranged in a substantially vertical sequence with adjacent rolls being in contact to form nips therebetween. The upper rolls are supported in the vat for resting under their own weight on the lower roll to apply pressure at the nips on the textile web. A drive motor drives at least one of the rolls with the other rolls being driven by surface contact with the drive roll for positive feed of the traveling web at a uniform surface speed through the treating liquor. Guide rolls guide the textile web to the vat at substantially the same surface speed as that of the plurality of rolls. A pair of driven squeeze rolls above the treating liquor form a nip through which the textile web is guided as it travels from the treating liquor, with squeeze rolls being driven at substantially the same surface speed as the guide rolls.

  • Patent number: 5326084
Abstract: A vibration damper for a wheel of a motor vehicle has a bearing unit for a suspension part of a stabilizer which is held on the spring strut. The bearing unit includes a holding element which extends around the cylinder of the spring strut and is connected with it. The holding element has a bearing for the suspension part in a projecting console and has a face that forms a spring plate. The face supports a coil spring which is arranged coaxially with respect to the spring strut. This coil spring is supported on the vehicle by an end which faces away from the bearing.

  • Patent number: 4875942
Abstract: A method of cleaning residual dye material from rollers of a textile fabric drying oven during passage of a travelling cloth lead therethrough. The method involves applying a cleaning material to the travelling cloth lead in advance of the oven and rotating the rollers to be cleaned at a surface speed different from the surface speed of the cloth lead to cause a cleaning action of the cloth lead against the rollers. The change in roller speed can be accomplished progressively, either by acceleration or deceleration and can be accomplished on the rollers individually or in sets.

  • Patent number: 4693013
Abstract: An infrared dryer includes an operating duct being at least as wide as a spread out textile fabric web passing through the duct for treatment, outer ducts disposed outside the operating duct, heating walls formed of adjacent wall elements substantially parallel to the surface of the fabric web separating said operating duct from the outer ducts, infrared radiators disposed on the wall elements, pivot axes about which the wall elements are pivotable through substantially 180.degree. for moving the infrared radiators between the operating duct and the outer ducts, an air suction device, and a device for directing air into the air suction device from any of the ducts containing the infrared radiators at a given moment.

  • Patent number: 4261391
Abstract: Apparatus for separating a cloth web, produced in a double plush weaving machine, into two pile cloth webs. Cutters move transversely of the cloth web in adaptation to the beating strokes of the reed of the weaving machine, with the cutters being arranged at fixed distances from one another on an endless holder running over non-displaceably mounted lateral reversing rollers. The cutters are guided in the cutting plane by a stationary guide.
